Neat idea! Which light kit are you using? The police around here are anal about plate visibility so I'm thinking after I get my hitch and platform rack all set up I'm going to relocate my plate and install a light kit similar to that one.
Ok I measured it. 38"F and 39"R. That's directly above the center of the wheel but I'm not sure if that's the highest actual point of the fender. That's also with 265/70/17 tires. I think it sits perfect with the 2.5" level. ?
I haven't measured them yet but I already knew I wanted to go with the 2.5" because if anything I wanted it to be raked a tad forward. Especially when I start using the bed for hauling anything or when I start towing. I'm eventually going to go with an adjustable coil over setup but this...
Hell yeah!! Looks great! Do you have the RokBlokz XL mud guards? I really need to get a set soon and have been hoping Rally Armor would come through with a direct fit set...
I just don't like the design of the top mounting point. Why is there only 1 bolt?! It's literally always leveraging the mounting plate outward no matter how much you tighten it.
This is the best explanation I could find with a quick search. It has to do with the fluid and the valves in the clutch.
"This is normal operation. What happens is that the fluid in the fan clutch goes back into the center of the clutch at rest and the valves close up because it's cool. When...
Damn, that looks REALLY nice. Did you ante up for the all aluminum or get the poly covered aluminum one? I'm still trying to decide what cover I want to go with using a platform hitch rack.
True, I just think it's absolutely a HUGE waste of time and money to take a chance on a kit that's not designed for a vehicle, ESPECIALLY when it's being shipped overseas for a premium. But if you have the resources, sure go for it, I guess... Lol.
Basically, you need to give up on the dream of running that setup. Some things just aren't meant to happen. It may "fit" with some modifications but are you willing to take the risk of buying an shipping from another continent? Someone else was looking for information on the same sport bar and...
Even if the one from the International Ranger does fit, you're likely not going to find one in North America that will ship to the US. I highly doubt it fits anyway.
I set them to 32 at first but now I'm thinking about dropping it back down to 30 after driving around a bit. It's definitely a noticeably harsher ride. I'm a little concerned about when I air down on the trails though since the sidewalls are already super close to the front knuckles. I think I'm...
Honestly, for both my gf and I they're not really used as steps. We're both kind of tall so it's a 50/50 or less chance that we'll use them as steps as they're pretty high and close to the door edge anyway. They definitely work for reaching up onto the roof though! :like: I REALLY like the way...
It's the Gator soft top. Picked it up locally. It's a super simple installation and great for keeping things mostly out of the weather but definitely not even remotely secure. haha. It'll work until I decided on which hard cover I want to get.
I just found out yesterday that my bikes don't fit...
