OK, it gets better. The GCWR for a SupeCrew 4x4 is 12500. 12400 is for a SuperCab 4x4. From the pictures, he has a SuperCrew. But he was way over the GVWR of the truck which is 6050. And also over his rear axle rating, whichon my '19 SCAB FX4 is 3470. The GCWR is not the only rating you need to...
Not quite true, the spring rate does not change as you increase the compression (preload), what does increase is the spring force (the total force the spring is producing).
Most springs used in front suspensions are constant rate springs. They have evenly spaced coils. They do make variable...
First question is what version of SYNC are you running? If it is anything lower than 23188 you need to update it. The prior version was full of bugs and caused a lot of strange problems. That is probably the SYNC software update they are talking about.
Wow! I'm glad I went with the MTM grille, no disassembly required. Just had to pull the 5 push pins and put the grille in place and reinstall the push pins. The front license plate holder broke a while ago. Looks better without it. Took longer to find my trim tool than to install.
There are actually two different alerts. The "Keep your hand on the wheel" one if it doesn't detect steering wheel input. And the "Rest suggested" one if it thinks your weaving in you lane too much.
Those are the same nuts I have been running with my Sport wheels for the last two years. Absolutely no issues. They have held torque just like the OEM did. And look a lot better than the chrome did.
It's been done before. Some even have replaced their Lariat guages with the XLT guages. Will need to find one with close to the same mileage or less. You will need to use Forscan to make sure the ICP asbuilt file from your old cluster is loaded into the new one and you can correct the mileage UP...
Interesting idea, not sure if that legally qualifies as enough rear lighting. That light bar is not where people would normally look look for brake lights during the day. They would look for the tailights first.
I'm kind of in a similar vain. Got close to a thousand tracks on my chip in the truck. Little of everything from county, jazz, rock, 70s, 80s. Haven't gotten into the classical yet, but you never know. I mostly thrift store buy and have recently started to pick up artists on LPs that never made...
Had a similar thing happen to me 19 years ago. After 27 years my employer decided to outsource part of their engineering group. I was on a project that they needed to complete and couldn't loose all the experience on. I along with multiple others were outsourced to a major "technical service...
I've got the Wolfhaus outlet on mine. Use it to run my 12v refrigerator when camping. Works great. Simple quicPowerPoint. Also used Forscan to extend the timeout on the powerpoints.
Really can't judge a setup by a picture. Looks OK trailer is level.
Without knowing axle and tongue weights before hooking up, axle weights after hooking up without bars and with bars. Even then it's still a judgement call. As Grumpaw said every setup is different and constantly changing. What...
