BTW, what powder were you loading when you doubled it?
There was a guy I shot with a few times (and was a very experienced hand) that swore up and down that a double of even something like Bullseye, wouldn't break an all steel gun. His contention was that with 45 Auto's, what always broke the...
Everyone on these forums who seem to be in a position to know, usually recommends a good pair of rear shocks to improve most elements of the ride on anything other than the Tremor. Shocks like Bilstein, Eibach and Fox all seem to get high marks.
In your specific case, side to side rocking, I...
Nice rig. Full Caspian ?
I was just kidding about the belt, I have like 10 of them... ;)
I use a Cross Breed Mini (horsehide) for my G43X and also Kahr PM9 (if the G43X grip is going to print on whatever I am wearing). Love those Cross Breed holsters.
I bought my wife a set of Michelin their ICE-X for her then Infiniti EX35.
Those were the best winter tires I have ever drove on. We both had driven extensively in Lake Tahoe in the winters and never had a problem. With the stock tires on her EX35 (Yokohama almost track day slicks), she...
Unfortunately for me, any of the guns I own that are chambered in 45 Auto are just too big and heavy to carry concealed. I dropped down to 40S&W and now 9mm (and keep moving down in weight in that category), one of these days I will have to buy a better belt... :)

I frankly am a little amazed all the electronics are so reliable (all very low voltage and sensitive to higher voltage spikes stuff). When they started really stacking even lower option level vehicles with all the intelligence I thought for sure they would always be in the shop.
But of course...
I always drive a little easier at night.
Which drives that soccer mom behind me in her giant SUV nuts. :)
I always wonder if she recognizes I was that old guy that drove her nuts earlier that day. ;)
I never really noticed a difference in my G21SF and any of my 1911's on that score.
Some people never clean the striker channel and/or striker assembly on their Glocks, or then they lube them up after they are cleaned. Both will lead to a lighter than spec striker hit in time.
And globalization, making it just a airplane flight away for it to span continents.
Never fear though, Mother Nature will step and take care of it, that is. if Putin or Xi don't make it happen sooner. :(
When I met my wife she believed that.
Now my wife believes that Socialism is the opiate of the masses.
My brother-in-law recently told me that the average human being goes through at least 3 distinct belief systems in their life.
I am kind of looking forward to my wife's "not sure" phase. :)
Just filled up at Costco the other day.
I am still calibrating my on board computer and must have had an arithmetic seizure and went the wrong way on my last adjustment, cause it was back to being 1 MPG off. :(
My Fuelly iPhone app said 20.2 MPG again. The last time it was like 20.3, before...
