thats why I said mount it on a pallet, pull it out when you don’t need it, we have a few transfer tanks set up like this rather then being locked to one truck
buy a ~20 gallon fuel cell from jegs and mount it on a small pallet in the bed, little transfer pump and you can use it on both the truck and if you have one a generator.
As someone who’s had crew cabs and my last ranger had a cap, I find the easiest thing to do is throw stuff away or put it back where it belongs so it’s out of my truck, seems the more storage the more shit I collect
I didn’t get film with mine but I ordered a roll after I had them on for a while and they started chaffing paint, if I had to do it again I’d just bolt rubber ones to the inner fender
I probably would of just put a crate motor in my 01 ranger if I hadn’t got my 19, gf has a Toyota 4 runner and there is no room in It, plus I had an 88 Toyota pick that was a bag of shit and after the second set of head gaskets I swore I would never get another
I’d probably buy a Pontiac Aztec...
That’s what I use, but still usually wrap the heat sharing connectors for extra protection, then try and wrap everything together and tuck it away nice.
I had to rewire the passenger side of my reefer trailer a while back, at some point In time, someone “fixed” the wiring with just tape, or 10...
I went with the xlt because of the dash and to have an actual key, would of liked leather but I’ve never seen them hold up as good as cloth in the long run
The bottoms just lock in and pop off, not sure about the backs.
Honestly they aren’t as bad as you would think, Im 5’11 and can fit back there, wouldn’t want to on a long trip, but short rides are fine
I ordered swing boxes for both sides, have the driver installed and like it so far, I am trying to minimize bed loss, I have the ford retractable cover.
Would personally never do vinyl/tape my KW is all hand painted pin stripes and gold leaf, My ranger is pretty low on the priority list for anything other then driving It does break it up a bit though
