I may be able to test that, I bought one so I could tow the empty car trail with my Focus and make use of the electric brakes, but never had to use it. And now that I have the Ranger, may remove the hitch from the Focus and sell that as a full kit (trailer 4-pin harness with t-connection to the...
Is the switch a momentary closed while pressed, or like the hazard switch that toggles the switch state when pressed? I'm guessing a momentary closed, since if you drive with it on the bed lights turn off. If that is the case, a small controller that toggles the state of a relay when a momentary...
I installed the B&O center speaker and grill in my XLT as the remote speaker for my GMRS radio.

Agreed, and the Mark as Read on the bottom of the notification popup is not working, I had to copy the link and paste it directly into the address bar to clear the unread notifications indicator.
This weekend mine started shifted poorly from 1 to 2nd on multiple occasions. and one of the higher shifts just hung between gears for a second while I was mildly accelerating. Got to tow this weekend to Garysburg, so we'll see how that goes. I need to connect Forscan one day and log while it's...
The engine while in auto stop/start stopped state will not stay off long enough for the oil on the valve train to run off all the way. The oil is pretty good and clinging on for a while, as long as it's not too old and the right oil for the application.
Reads like they are made to work with that Predator aftermarket grill. Funny they call them Thunder Red inserts, while they look more like the Tremor Red Inserts. On the Ranger Thunder inserts are more of a "D" while the Tremor are a "C".
A friend of mine, also 0 changes and with Progressive, had his coverage for 1 car go from $117/month to $249/month from last month to this month. ~113% increase.
Both of those are good troubleshooting steps. Neither cost you anything but time, and could save time and money chasing a possible wrong issue, or just shotgunning parts at it hoping one of them fixes the issue.
The DRL on the Anzo only operate when the truck requests DRL, and when DRL are requested they are brighter. And when using turn signal the DRL at the blinking assembly disables until a moment after the signal ends. I have DRL on in Auto, but off in Off and they work as intended. When the parking...
Yes, they were nearly plug and play for my XLT and worked how they should. I say nearly plug and play because they do want to you had a constant +12V connection at the battery and run that to both lights. The only mod I did make was adding an extra wire where they left an open hole in the seal...
You paid more for the install than I paid for the lights.
But, on topic. I think the Anzo LED lights are great. I'm still against the Alpha Rex lights as long as they force the side reflector there is is not needed on the Ranger as long as you keep the OE side marker on the wheel well trim.
While I really want the feature of OBD2AA back, not sure I want to deal with a hassle to get AA Torque working, only for it to become a game of whack-a-mole with ever Android or AA update breaking it until a fix is found.
