Not much wheeling in Socal Lockwood Valley is fun, but tbh try norcal or another state. Everything that looks promising is private, posted or state land.
I'd be surprised if they make a decade til you hear of sticking injectors, carbon buildup, oil consumption ect cool truck to own for a few yrs but not a long lasting one. 10R80 GM colab is a pos I've never heard a transmission make so many awful noises, miss gears, choose the wrong gear, slip...
A 4BT is a glorified forklift motor, there's nothing to them, mechanical everything, emissions will be tough since the truck is so new not sure how that will work til the truck is older BUT I have seen a few 90's-00's Rangers running 4BTs and Kubotas.
SIGN ME UP! That's the plan with mine as well. Will he be adapting it to the 10R80 trashbox or a manual swap? I wont even shed a single tear when the 2.3L takes a dump!
Pretty good truck, we will see how it holds up. So far w/28K not too bad never been to the dealer. Does have some slight cold start misfires that the computer hasn't caught yet, hate the 10R80 trashmission I doubt it will last, and the HVAC actuators are noisy AF. No car is perfect have to...
Has anyone here added KC daylighters as ditch lights? I've seen Jeeps using these https://www.kchilites.com/6-daylighter-halogen-pair-pack-system.html
as ditch lights they look great and throw some good light for what they are. Would love to see how they look on the Ranger.
I went with a cheapy MBRP aluminized for $330 What the heck. Actually the bold seems louder in all videos. Would be interesting to see how it holds up in MT your 2021 stock pipe looks like mine after 2 something yrs of driving. I can't justify an exhaust that cost much more than the $300-400...
Does anyone have this pipe on their Ranger? How's it sound? Fitment looks great on the website and in pics!
