Not all EB are Direct injection. I’ve owned 5 EB vehicles 3 F-150’s, Ranger and Focus RS. the only ones that have Been DI is my Focus RS and My Ranger. My port injected EB F-150’s didn’t have issues with fuel in the oil. I agree that 5-6 ounces of fuel ever 1k miles is reason for concern though...
Oil dilution is definitely an issue and a “fix” is a catch can. It’s the nature of the beast with DI engines. I also run one on my 2017 Mustang GT tuned on E85 and it’s port injected. Anything being regurgitated back into the motor isn’t a good thing and catch cans remedy that.
I got the 100k extended bumper to bumper warranty at dealer cost ?. Perks to being a loyal customer, former employee and friends with the GM.
If you plan on keeping your truck long term, the extended warranty makes sense.
Get more options than you think you need because all too often there are owners on here wanting to add options they thought they didn’t need at the time of purchase.
I have Fabtech UCA’s with bolt in replaceable ball joints. They are great and made in the USA. I run them with my Eibach pro 2.0 adj coilovers set at 3.5 inches.
