It’s probably a regional thing you n regards to what is owned and traded for. There aren’t many rangers in my area. I literally failed at trying to get a local group together. Lol.
I see a lot of Ram owners trading in for Ford and Toyota trucks. There are also those Ram owners that love their trucks. I do think they are good looking trucks but I know how bad dodge depreciation is when I traded in my SRT 392 Scat Pack Charger.

Definitely depends on the region you live in. In areas with salted roads, I would most certainly protect the undercarriage. Here in NC they don’t salt roads when it snows so I just use my pressure washer under the truck.
In regards to dealerships. Most just scan the VIN and do a walk around...

No need to do this on the Ranger and it creates a boost leak.
Let’s just lay it out there. The maverick is a crossover with a bed… it’s not a truck and will never amount to much offroad unless we are talking about driving on a dirt road. Customers are going to get fooled into thinking they bought some type of off road performance vehicle.
the dealership can check to see if your PCM has been flashed and can check key cycles and a host of other things. They normally have no reason to check this unless there is an issue related to the drivetrain or PCM.
Me personally, I don’t try to hide the fact my truck is tuned. I’m just...
I’m 45, retired vet and now a civilian DOD Aviation electrician. It’s getting harder to see small stuff. Lol. I use magnifying reader glasses while working but need full time prescription glasses. My dad was about my age when he started wearing glasses so I’m pretty sure it’s my turn.
