Why do the step 2 and 4? I'd apply the parking brake first while holding down the foot brake then put the transmission to P then let go foot brake. Just curious.
Try this as a test...close out ford app. When you get home, don't lock your truck and wait outside watching your truck for 10 mins or so (... so i can't be responsible for your stolen truck... :P) and check the app. It wont say if its locked or not.
Auto Stop Start doesn't really bother me that much.... Why does it bother some? Is it because someone want to drag race at stop light? LOL. I mean, I'm ok with engine off at stop light as it'd save some gas....
O
Reminds me of a friend with F-150, he had e-brakes on and let his wife take it for the day and... she left and came back with it still engaged :/ Had brake issues since then. Think he said it costed almost $1k to get all corrected.
Only if the brake pedal doesn't work anymore or if I am parked on an incline driveway/road/etc. If I do park on incline, I will pull it up to near top and put the transmission in P after that. It scares the hell out of me if I let go the brake not using the e-brake after put in park and it move...
Let me be clear with this. I love it when I start the Ranger in mornings and it's roaring like a dragon. Then eventually it's quiet a few minutes later. If it's roaring like that the entire time truck is running then yeah it'll bother me to no end.
I have take off shudder as well. I'm just hanging on to it until i see more info about the fix. I don't want the dealership to fuck around and keep coming back. I don't have any patience.. lol. It's not that bad right now to bother me.
My 2010 Ford Fusion had 3 when I ordered it. 2017 Honda Accord had 4 and it was in stock at dealer at the time. Ranger had 38 miles when it was in stock at dealer.
80MPH.. but I'm a good boy atm. Eventually I'll do this like i did with my Fusion - 2010 Ford Fusion Sport 75-100mph - YouTube
Max speed limit on NYS highway is 65MPH, sadly.
