Sometimes I'm too lazy to plug in and just use the regular Bluetooth. Usually this is for short rides. I turn on the radio and have to scroll through am x3,fm x3 and xm x3 before I get to BT. Wear and tear on that button less eyes off the road haha.
Wow that got a lot of replies quickly. I'm not paying a cent for Xm. Its nice and all but I pay for spotify and listen to exactly what I want to. 100% ad free. A coworker said its is possible with forscan and I'm going to learn how to use it.
My SiriusXM trial has ended. Does anyone know if it is possible to remove their stations from my display so I don't have to scroll through 3 dead channels between am/FM and Bluetooth? Would this require forscan?
I towed using that same exactly u-haul (6x12) about a month ago with 0 issues. Couldn't tell it was there. I will say, it was not loaded to the max (we just lazily stuffed it and made 3 trips) and only went about 50 miles total. But I was surprised at how effortless it was to pull and slow down...
So SCT has come out with their own tunes for our Rangers. I had an SCT X4 from my old f250 and figured I would give it a shot. Got onto the SCT website, plugged my device into the PC, downloaded their updates which included the new tunes, and installed onto my truck via OBD. Kind of scary as all...
The picture they sent me of their plugs. I'll be checking mine before the week is up. I saw on another that that they bought overseas taillights and they were small... Checking dimensions as well.
I agree. It's kind of messed up that it costs so much and it's not modular. A pair of these tail lights is worth 1/15 Of the whole truck lol. Worth 1/3 of an entire 2.3l crate engine! Unfortunately it's not a hairline crack.
Honestly I think I can do without the blis. As long as the main light plugs are compatible I'm fine with it. Maybe I could Dremel out a spot for the blis lol. Do you think the plugs are compatible? I think I'll email them back and ask them for a picture of their plugs.
So I cracked my tail light last week. Told my insurance company that I would repair it myself, went to Ford and they want an arm and a leg for a new one (1200). Nevermind lol. But before I went through my insurance I got on eBay and found some options. They come from china or Thailand and are...
Ah okay. Well I just got an oil change at the dealer and was curious so I asked. AutoNation Ford in Denver has the performance tune for about 800. They said an install/update would be about another 100. Sounds like it can be a diy.
I am trying to figure out why this is happening but when I have my phone connected to the AA usb and running spotify, the steering wheel buttons only sometimes changes to the next song when pressed. Its just a minor inconvenience but annoying none the less because I have to either go to my phone...
Awesome! How do you like it? And how many points did it use? I'm in the Denver metro area, got my ranger from Barbee Freeway Ford. I'm in between the Ford tune or Livernois but waiting for my warranty to end (3 yrs)
So the speaker fits behind the back seat just fine. Two MIGHT be possible. If you remove the factory jack behind the seat then I'm pretty sure it would fit just fine. While I'm sure shops are better, I prefer using craigslist or Facebook marketplace to find help. They're usually mobile and I can...
