I hear possible accelerator pedal (clicking) like a clock and then the blow off of the turbo at the end of the video - similar to air brakes releasing pressure
At (KOEO) Key on engine off, press the pedal to the floor and hold it, Waste Gate should cycle, do you hear the clicking?
Its hard to...
I recently check mine, due to I occasionally plug in the voltmeter in the Power Point for a curiosity check.
Noted that my charging voltage was reading 12.2 (12.4 Actual) got to work and my door lock (handle) sensor was inop - locked with FOB.
Drive home same issue 12.2 - Hmm, cycled the...
Although related issue for the recall, this does not fall under it as C422 would affect the complete circuit.
I believe this is just a corroded terminal - root cause with secondary issues of crossing circuits due to the damaged connector.
However depending on part (harness) availability, to...
Here you go:
PN: KB3B-13407-BC - LED Harness with Blind Spot (Shown)
PN: KB3B-13407-AB - Non-LED Harness, will have 3 each connectors for the Tail Lamp End and its a 6 cavity connector at the harness end.
I found the part number buried in my files that I never named
No Harness Number...
Ok, I revised the pic for clarity:
So:
Pin 1 = Ground
Pin 2 = Stop / Brake Light
Pin 3 = Park Lamp
It appears the corrosion on Pin 3 - Park Lamp circuit got hot and it melted the cavity and may be touching Pin 2 and damaged it and they are all possibly touching together.
Corrosion Pin 3 and...
I threw this together - Operation Notes
Just something to factor in a as a possible issue for those with continued issues after the DPFE replacement.
The only way to confirm is Live Data view of the EGR PIDs and or remove and inspect the tube assembly
Since I have never found a detailed pic of the EGR Tube Assy, I threw this together and (THINK) this may be why. IDK just playing with thoughts of operation as it has been asked more than once for repetitive issues after DPFE (Only) replacement, my thoughts have been the MAPT or this tube, but...
The reason it is diagonal is due to faster and more efficient heating and as @Big Blue mentioned has to do with the camera itself and its field of view and it minimizes distortion of the view by:
The close proximity of the grid to the camera keeps it out of focus and the camera ignores it, plus...
Yes that's the (IPMA) defrost grid
The Auto-High Beam - Is the IPMA camera itself sensing forward images
The Auto Headlamp (Lighting-Sun Load) sensor is the small protruding sensor on the dash.
The tie in = The Ground Circuit
G123 = Taillamps, Mirrors, Rear Defrost Grid inc Heated Mirrors, Headlamps & CHMSL
So I suspect you have a power feed touching the ground wire somewhere in the circuit and with your noted inop Drivers Rear Brake light, may be the most likely avenue to inspect.
If...
Not exact but I had to top off my washer fluid this AM and I threw a wrench on the tube at the Intake End (OD) = 3/4 In
So 3/4 in brush (approximate) and it looks like the Inside Diameter might just be big enough to fit my Borescope inside it.
I am curious what the (Orifice) split looks like...
My only concerns are:
How fast (time period) would it take for the desiccant to turn colors and how much will it affect pressure flow - its a great idea for a mod, but will need some testing as you plan.
To answer the Temp Question - Note the EGR Temp Sensor is just before the DPFE and if we...
The shop manuals are available here:
- FordServiceInfo.Com
You have options for subscription use (access)
72 hour - 30 Day Etc
Or you can purchase direct from Helm but its expensive as that is who produces them, some have purchased a printed version of the manuals for about 200-300 I believe...
Awesome notes on the tooling for the next DIYer, I had mentioned in the other thread that the seal installer was a debatable tool (glad you found a workaround) without it.
