My 2017 2.7TT F-150 was the same way. I was really disappointed until around 15K miles then it just changed.

Just to clarify here, Ford didn't lie, the dealer did. The dealership isn't owned by Ford Motor Company so saying "Ford lied" is technically putting the blame where it doesn't belong. That goes back to you saying you'd never buy a Ford again either...it wasn't Ford that necessarily screwed...

I don't even remember seeing that as an option when I built mine.

IMO, this is the ONLY turbo whistle that sounds cool and quite frankly, the Ranger is never going to make this kind of noise. :LOL:

Just got home from a trip to Anaheim and back. Average for the whole trip was 23.9 and that's based on the average of the mileage calculations from the fill-ups along the way of the trip. Not bad.

If I recall correctly, it's $750. BUT, you only get that kind of discount if you're buying it new from Ford. They can offset the cost far more than you buying what you need to do it in the aftermarket. Honestly, I think SYNC 3 should be available as an option on XL trim like it is with F-150s.
