  1. Class Action Lawsuit Filed over MPG Ratings

My 2017 2.7TT F-150 was the same way. I was really disappointed until around 15K miles then it just changed.
  2. 2019 Ranger Buy Back

Just to clarify here, Ford didn't lie, the dealer did. The dealership isn't owned by Ford Motor Company so saying "Ford lied" is technically putting the blame where it doesn't belong. That goes back to you saying you'd never buy a Ford again either...it wasn't Ford that necessarily screwed...
  3. 2019 Ford Ranger Reviews Compilation

I don't even remember seeing that as an option when I built mine.
  4. Turbo Whistle

IMO, this is the ONLY turbo whistle that sounds cool and quite frankly, the Ranger is never going to make this kind of noise.
  5. Why did YOU choose a mid-size truck?

First of all, I come from the same world you do. I've had seven F-150's throughout my adult life. The reasoning is mostly due to the previous generation Ranger being too small to be practical for me. However, my industry is mostly filled with guys driving bro-dozers and such and no one would...
  6. Ranger vs F150

Or more like, "Why would you buy a Tacoma versus a Tundra?" or "Why would you buy a Colorado versus a Silverado?". It's the same silly question regardless of the manufacturer.
  7. New and Old

Hope you moved over in between the stall lines after the picture...
  8. My Ranger's MPG calculations, what?

To reset either trip's averages, go to that trip's calculator page (the one that shows the averages and fuel remaining) and hold down the "OK" button on your steering wheel until it indicates that the trip's averages have been reset. To reset the averages in the other menu, you have to go to...
  9. Fordpass will be free permanently!

Ah yes...and the nail-biting hoping you'd actually connect on the first go 'round!
  10. Fordpass will be free permanently!

Anyone that thinks the FordPass app is slow is someone that I'd bet didn't have to do much work with a dial-up modem.
  11. Rough Shifting

I had the rough 3-4 shift when the ENGINE was cold, not the ambient temperature. However, it never happened after the first time it did it each time. I had the transmission software update completed (mine was manufactured before the build date) and that fixed the issue...mostly. Every once...
  12. New and Old

I sure did. I was stationed at Fort Sill for four years back in the late 90's to early 2000's.
  13. New and Old

My first new vehicle. 2000 Ranger XLT.
  14. Report your MPG

Just got home from a trip to Anaheim and back. Average for the whole trip was 23.9 and that's based on the average of the mileage calculations from the fill-ups along the way of the trip. Not bad.
  15. Minnesota Upgrade screen

If I recall correctly, it's $750. BUT, you only get that kind of discount if you're buying it new from Ford. They can offset the cost far more than you buying what you need to do it in the aftermarket. Honestly, I think SYNC 3 should be available as an option on XL trim like it is with F-150s.
  16. Post your off-road pics.

Most people think a road is paved.
  17. Minnesota Upgrade screen

Infotainment does this stuff. But they're currently sold out. https://www.infotainment.com/collections/ford-navigation/products/2019-2020-ford-ranger-4-to-8-sync-3-touchscreen-upgrade?variant=12223240863780
