  1. Locking Gas Plug/Cap???

I think some of you guys need better insurance. You'll sleep better.
  2. Pet Peeves

Sarcasm aside, I'm fairly certain you're completely able to understand exactly what I'm talking about.
  3. Pet Peeves

This is off-road driving only? I've never had that much change in tire pressure with extended highway driving!
  4. Pet Peeves

There are some instances where it's not correct. That's all I'm saying. To me, the reason TPMS exist is the same reason "idiot lights" exist on modern cars. Without them, people would have no clue what's going on with their vehicles since they won't exercise a single bit of maintenance...
  5. Pet Peeves

Honestly, you're not supposed to use any TPMS as a replacement for physically checking the tire pressure with an actual gauge. It's always been that way.
  6. Horrible MPG's

Correct, I wasn't trying to refute the argument that tonneau covers aren't more efficient, just that, as stated in the video, it's likely more subjectively improving the mileage than objectively.
  7. CA FasTrak Flex Toll Tag

That's exactly where I stuck mine.
  8. Horrible MPG's

    It's an F-150, but yeah...
  9. Locking Gas Plug/Cap???

    That's my understanding, too.
  10. What car/truck are you replacing with the new Ranger?

I'll bet! Although my dealer kept checking to make sure I really wanted to trade my F-150 for the Ranger. They just couldn't understand why anyone would do that.
  11. What car/truck are you replacing with the new Ranger?

    Interesting! Any particular reason?
  12. AC Recirculate

It's only ever on for me when MAX A/C is on or if I'm driving near some cow pasture or something in which case it's off within a few minutes too. I never leave it on recirculated for long.
  13. AC Recirculate

Do you mean you're enabling the recirculation manually and it reverts back to outside (fresh) air automatically after some time? If that's the case, my F-150s did the same thing. It's normal due to the HVAC system wanting to prevent fogging amongst other things. From the manual...
  14. Uncomfortable

As per usual, you don't read replies when you feel like you're being attacked without just jumping to conclusions and judgement. It's a shame you do this so easily since I tend to agree with the things you say around the forum though that doesn't make you any less argumentative. However, in...
  15. Uncomfortable

I'm pretty sure you're the most argumentative person on this forum. I'm fully aware, as are likely the majority of others, that the vehicle's VIN is entered into FordPass but that still doesn't mean it knows what tires are installed. There are a myriad of reasons why it would be different...
  16. Uncomfortable

...and I specifically said that it depends on the tires but more importantly I can't find a single place in the owners manual that recommended tire pressures are given. They'd have to reprint the manual every time Ford changed vendors which makes no sense. That's why the door jam is the best...
  17. Pet Peeves

I've had that happen in my Ranger and my previous F-150s. I've found it has more to do with the position of the seat back not allowing the passenger seatbelt to straighten out fully more than anything else. If my wife didn't leave her seat so far back, it wouldn't do that...but yeah well...
  18. Uncomfortable

My door jam and FordPass both say 30 PSI. Mine is a 4X4 crew cab. I suspect where you're seeing 35 in the manual is on page 213 and that is merely an example being provided, not the actual rated PSI you should be using. The door jam sticker and/or what's printed on the tire sidewall itself is...
  19. Uncomfortable

Supposed to 30, unless the 2WD versions are different than the 4X4's. Yes, it does make a difference. Mine was the same way until I found the tires were overinflated when I left the dealership.
