  1. Installed catch can and intake, now AC blowing warm

I'll look at seeing if I can directly check the compressor clutch Sunday, after I get home from work. I'm on shift tomorrow and likely won't have time. Then, to the dealership on Monday. I'm debating whether or not to reverse the catch can install. I don't think I can undo Mishimoto's new...
  2. What did you do to your Ranger today?

I love it, so far. I meant to see about getting a recording of sound for somebody, but keep forgetting.
  3. Installed catch can and intake, now AC blowing warm

Thanks for the info. I’ll definitely look when I get home.
  4. Installed catch can and intake, now AC blowing warm

Hmm… I’ll look and see what it would take to do that, but I’m not sure where that connection actually is. I’m assuming at the compressor.
  5. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Between yesterday and today, I installed a tonneau cover, tailgate damper, oil catch can, performance intake, and somewhere along the way screwed up my AC.
  6. Installed catch can and intake, now AC blowing warm

Thanks y’all! So, comparing to my wife’s Ranger, I actually saw the issue, or at least a symptom of the issue. The front of my compressor isn’t spinning when I turn the AC on. Not sure if that’s the compressor itself, just the clutch, or no power going to the compressor/clutch. I swapped the...
  7. Installed catch can and intake, now AC blowing warm

Nope… it was connected. Fuses and relays all look good.
  8. Installed catch can and intake, now AC blowing warm

I'll bet that's what it is. A quick search for that term brings up a connector that looks just like it. Just got home from getting a floor jack. About to go look. I appreciate the input. Thank you.
  9. Installed catch can and intake, now AC blowing warm

It does not. There were only three electrical connectors that are messed with during these installs. The two by the intake and then one below a coolant hose in the wheel well. The two above are connected. I wonder what the one below does and if I forgot to reconnect it. It would be...
  10. Installed catch can and intake, now AC blowing warm

As stated.... I got my Mishimoto intake and oil catch can installed. Now, the AC is barely cool. Any ideas on what I may have screwed up somewhere? It worked fine yesterday when I pulled it into the garage to start work. There are no MIL at the present time. Edited to add: I also installed...
  11. Need Quick Help with Catch Can Install

Yeah... now it's on to the intake. The filter grommet is being a bitch. Then those stupid clamps. Bah. This is the last mod for a while, anyway. At least the tail gate damper was easy.
  12. Need Quick Help with Catch Can Install

Okay.... got the connector on. I was just way to frustrated last night (early this morning). I'll add this to the list of things I'll just pay someone else to do, if I ever do it again.
  13. Need Quick Help with Catch Can Install

Next step… both hoses have these new green clips, unlike the videos. The port it’s connecting to has to push the tabs on the inside, so you can push the green clip down to lock it in. The red port doesn’t do this. Or, at least I have been unable to make it do it. I got the other hose...
  14. Need Quick Help with Catch Can Install

Dude, I was going nuts. So, red port behind coolant line, to black port on top of engine. Black port is what used to be the yellow/white port, correct? Thank you, for the confirmation.
  15. Need Quick Help with Catch Can Install

I found another video of an install of this. Again, the hose goes from a yellow fitting to a red fitting (or the other way around, no idea). But, this fitting here is the one I pulled the above hose from. That hose runs from this fitting to the one on top of the engine. Not a yellow fitting...
  16. Need Quick Help with Catch Can Install

Okay... looking at the video for the hundredth time, I can identify everything that can be seen. I just can't find this fucking hose. This is driving me nuts. I'm going to look in the morning again. I have somewhere to be around noon. So, when the wheel goes back on, project catch can is...
  17. Need Quick Help with Catch Can Install

Okay. This is the other end of the hose that I showed above. This is baffling me. It’s connected right where the video shows. I think. This is behind the coolant hose, a little above and to the left, behind some other stuff. In relation to the oil filter, it’s up and to the left. But...
  18. Need Quick Help with Catch Can Install

I have the wheel off. I'm just not seeing it. It's good to know that nothing has changed. I'm looking at a shop manual now. To get to this hose, you're supposed to take the manifold off. I guess this is what happens when we find shortcuts. LOL. I'll keep looking. I must just be blind...
  19. Need Quick Help with Catch Can Install

So... I'm installing my Mishimoto oil catch can... or trying to. I'm looking for the damn hose. The only hose I can find with a blue connector goes from a reddish orange L-shaped male connector that is spot on for where it should be in the Mishimoto install video. But, that hose goes up to the...
  20. What did you do to your Ranger today?

Today, I installed my Husky floor mats. That was easy. Then, I decided to install my MBPR cat-back. Not so easy. They make it look easy on the videos. But, they usually have a lift and are standing up. I was on a creeper, with the rear of the truck on ramps. Still not too comfortable...
