Well... raw materials got a lot more expensive thanks to literally locking down the world.
I'd say, "hopefully this inflation will back off" but we all know the printing of money and the current cost of raw materials and shortage of skilled labor is going to cause massive inflation.
Glad I...
I am getting aftermarket wheels and will put the factory General off-road tires on those, so I took advantage of a deal at Pep Boys for Buy 3 Get 1 + Free Installation on these Kuhmo Crugen HT55 tires. They're effectively the same as the HT51s, but apparently a model only Pep Boys sells. They...
Happy to.
Good Ford dealer:
- Hardy Family Ford, Dallas, GA - only dealer I trusted to touch my Mustang, resolved many issues other dealers said were "normal" or whatever crap bs they came up with to tell me to move on
The dealer I'll never step foot on again:
- Allan Vigil Ford, Morrow, GA...
I'll tell you one thing... the dealer service experience at Toyota for me has been 10x better than any Ford dealer I've been to (except one, which I drive >1 hour to because they actually listen, do warranty work without fights, and do work carefully). At the Ford dealers I've engaged, even the...

I got an email from FP--they said it may be released this summer.
And the price... likely not $1495... metal got more expensive. They didn't say that, but I expect it.
I've emailed Ford Performance... every bumper design I actually like is not available for the Ranger. All the great Toyota truck bumpers... just the big massive ugly ones are available for the Ranger. This one is lean and gets the job done in the right ways. Baffles me it's not being released...
If it goes where they go... they'll shut up.
But I'm not going to off-road jamborees and I do not give a flying poop what anyone thinks.
It's disappointing, now knowing it's going to be AWD and not on a ladder frame, that it might not contend at the ol' jamboree, but AWD and unibody designs...
Same for GM stuff... same valving, just longer throw on the 5100 (and different, less obvious color). I went with the 5100s on the Tahoe solely because I didn't want bright yellow shocks, haha. But the Tahoe was lifted up a little bit, not significant, so I justified it beyond aesthetics...
