Had my NuCanoe Unlimited out today.

I never noticed any effect one way or the other with mine but recently had a friend back his boat into my grille and smash up the grill and the big mouth (and my intercooler) so when I fixed/replaced everything I didn’t bother to replace the big mouth.

That fascia is a bitch to get off. All of the torx bolts are locktighted on and with my hidden winch mount down there, getting access to them is a nightmare. Lots of cussing last time I messed with that thing.

Well, managed to get the hood up by removing the bar holding the latch. Sprayed everything down with some wd-40 and put everything back together and working fine now. ?‍♂️

Went to go pop hood yesterday and while the inside first latch worked, the secondary latch isn't working. Push the yellow lever over per usual and the latch doesn't disengage. Tried to use a long screwdriver to move the hook holding the hood down and that doesn't work either. My next step is...

For comparison this is the noise when I first noticed it a year ago.

My hunch when I noticed this before was also a tracking device. My truck came installed with LoJack and so I was assuming had something to do with that. I never bothered to dig too deep though as the noise seems to come and go since I first noticed a year ago.

Mine definitely makes this noise when the truck is fully powered off and locked.

Mine does this as well (posted a video here while back). I never figured it out and I just stopped worrying about it. Still does it though so if you ever find it let me know!

This is a lightweight canoe but I carry my 85 lb sit on top duck hunting kayak in the same way.

I have considered it but decided I would be able to handle the likely near daily “you take that thing in deep water”. And I don’t have much dust here in northeast. Looks great though!

Yeah I removed Waze and didn’t help. It is some issue between Apple and Sync that I don’t think will ever be fixed. Truly annoying. I just avoid phone calls or pick phone up closer if I have to take a call

I have deep pan and skids (Shrockworks). Fits fine

I wouldn’t worry. We fill to the exact same level as stock. Just takes more fluid to get there. If cornering was a problem it would be a problem with stock as well.

Don't see how that could be if you fill it to the correct level?

@Fitzmotor If you are still sending the updated sticks out to early purchasers, sign me up. I have zero complaints on the first one, but my eyesight isn't getting any better as I get older! :) Just let me know where to pay!
