I just assumed made easier to mount but definitely doesn’t mitigate the need for properly torquing the lug nuts little bit at a time in a star pattern. Also always heard plastic was better as the ring carries no load and less likely to have any metal on metal seizing issues.
Back bars came out pretty easily with no cutting. I did cut the front bars with an angle grinder because much easier and faster than loosening the bumper.
The ReadyLift bars just slide right in. No need for the bumper to be loosened.
Yep it is factory. I have noticed a lot of weird looking wiring stuff under the hood. The fuse box for my aux switches (Tremor) was held in place with tape. I sometimes think I received a truck that was rushed out the door.
Did some breathing work today. Installed Roush CAI, AFE scoop and a bigmouth today. Not sure I expect much to happen but figured it couldn’t hurt and feel like I might be scraping bottom of the barrel for mods I want to do. :)
Call me a skeptic but I highly doubt that anyone in this thread is arguing to “save lives”. This back and forth is about one thing. Winning an argument on the Internet. I would assume by now that most of have learned that is not possible?!

I just installed these few days to but decided to wire them to my aux switch (I have Tremor) so have grounded in engine bay.
Tell you what was not fun. Running wire from engine bay to tailgate a week after I sprayed the undercarriage with fluid film. Messy and smelly job.
I can't imagine why the dealership would care. They can wash it off if they don't like it and it seems like it would indicate a well cared for vehicle. That said and as others have pointed out, I don't see them even looking.
I haven’t found a drive mode I love. Drive has the low rpm issue around 30-35 mph. Sport just seems a bit too intense at times. Tow mode is overly aggressive (for me) engine braking on all the hills around me. I tend to flip around between drive nodes but most of the time I stick to D and just...
