I’ve seen many people spending 3-4k on their camper shells here… so I don’t get why so many people say RSI is too expensive. I’ve had my RSI for a couple years now and I still love it! Much tougher than the fiberglass options.my whole bed is accessible with the large windows. Nothing has fallen...
The other option would be to use the road along the coast that circles the island, however we have some very crappy bridges in a section that our county forgot to maintain and large trucks can no longer use them. The county’s fix for that was using the saddle road, which is now threatened by...
Tonight, we went to the other side of the mountain. The lava is making steady progress and will probably reach one of our main arteries between the East and West sides of the island. Commutes will suck if that happens, but at least homes are not nearby. Yet.
Articulation on the Ranger does leave much to be desired, but I think part of the Taco’s performance is due to the flexy c-channel frame in the rear, which isn’t as robust as the fully boxed (though stiff) frame of the Ranger.
I don’t think it was mentioned but one of the good things with that...
I was thinking I’d keep my Ranger for at least 10 years, now I’m not so sure. I prefer the looks of the current gen, but that interior is SO much better!
Yes, you need one. Although no TSB or recall has been issued yet, running your truck without a TG damper can cause excess fuel in the oil and water in the sparkplugs.
Just unbolt them from either end before lowering the control arm. Mine popped out during my level install and I had to pop mine back in. Over 25k miles since and still okay!
JCR is known for their weird foods like hotdogs on their roof racks. I can’t help but seeing a bbq grill with this one.
Would work great if they made one for my xj- the 4.0 gets much hotter than this 2.3 in the ranger!
I think Mavericks are perfect for most people on the forum complaining about the Ranger’s mpg.
OP- your Maverick looks great! I see them zipping around here, and I still want my gf to get one ? that way I can drive it around without owning one. It would not fulfill my needs.
It’s fine if you need to let people know where the top of your windshield ends :) otherwise, it’s just a styling choice that everyone has a different opinion on. I am not a fan of excessive lighting for excessive lighting’s sake. I don’t like it, but more power to you if you decide to rock it on...
My RSI load bars are 45.5” and it has the gullwings- anything a few inches wider would likely interfere with opening them. The roof tapers a lot on the ranger (I wish it didn’t have so much taper for many reasons). I’m not sure what your shell will be like, but it will probably be similar.
