Thank you! Yes, we have episodes every couple of weeks. Some of them go as high as 1,500 feet, spraying tephra and ash for miles! We live off of rainwater catchment ranks so we have to be careful! The ash is also terrible for the paint, but it comes off easily because I use 303 :)

Checked out the 38th episode of the Kilauea Volcano eruption. I live just down the road so I get to see most of them, but each are unique.

I think it’s your transmission waking up. You are probably two or more gears too high and the truck has to drop some gears before responding to your foot. It makes it worse if your pedal response is not consistent when putting it down. It wants to be in the highest gear possible and so if you...

Celebrated my 4th year two weeks ago! I can’t wait till next year when I finally pay off my 0% loan! The Ranger Raptor looks cool, but I’m more than happy with my 2020 XLT! I wouldn’t trade it in for anything new at this point!

Thanks! It’s ICON 17x8.5 wheels with +25mm offset. It is pretty much flush with the fenders. You can see a little trail rash on the front driver side from some rocks, but I’m okay with that. It reminds me of our adventures :)...

I have 265/70/17 on Falken AT3W with FOX 2.0 Ford Performance level kit. I’d like to put another inch or so in front and rear, maybe just adjust the front coil and install an ICON leaf pack when I get the funds.

I drove my Rapid Red Ranger to South Point four years to the day. It was less than a week old before I flexed it on the dunes. Here’s how my Ranger stands today, about 48,000 miles ano no issues so far.

I thought that the 2.5 hybrid engine was the base engine? Why is it an option? I really like the Maverick and would like it as a commuter, mini hauler type vehicle, but I need the 4x4 from the Ranger. I want my girlfriend or sons to get a Mav so I can use it :)

2020 with 43k on it. No problems yet! I drive it mostly in Tow/Haul mode or sport because the tranny always wants to be in a higher gear. I’m hoping I never have to use my extended warranty. I love this truck!

I can’t stand the lazy shifting at low speed but I believe it’s the software mapping as designed. But putting it in tow haul/mode makes it feel like a regular truck. Putting it in sport makes it feel like a race car ?

Yes! Certainly can… are you familiar with the islands? To get to the snow, I need to drive down the volcano (Kilauea), to the sea (Hilo), and onto another mountain (Mauna Kea). ? It’s not that different than my daily commute….
