remove all the rust, wipe it down with thinner or acetone, let dry. then paint it or use bed liner on it..

that is normal for that piece. sorry your truck is having issues, let us know what the problem was.

will the 2 piece lug nut hold up to that after 2 or 3 years ? I installed 1 piece lug nuts after the 1st tire rotation.

I also had to replace the factory tires at 27,000 miles, I baby my truck & only run very mild off road when hunting. those Bridgestone tires were LOUSY !!! I had BF Goodrich Advantage T/A tires installed, as they were highly recommended. the ride is smooth & the mileage is the same as before...

today the Ranger locked me out !!! :mad: laid the keys/fob on the console, after I let my little buddy out of the truck, I hit the lock button on the door & closed the doors. fortunately the boss was still at home when I called & she brought the spare fob to me. only a 20 minute ride for her...
