If you have a bronze filter media, looks like it's falling apart.
I used cheap catch cans all the time but I remove their provided mesh filter for this reason.
Now if you don't have a filter.. I have no idea wtf I'm seeing.
So these things are failing at a frequently high enough rate to warrant increased manufacturing of said units...
Feel a little better having traded mine in. Really wasn't feeling confident in the durability of of ranger after 2 years and 16k miles.
Can't comment much on my gator brand I had for the ranger as it was an open box discount and I had to supply/rig up my own hardware.
Same brand on my frontier except new. Fits fine, but back corners could be a little wider as the velcro is partially visible.
Shit box frontier? Lmao.
You lost all my sympathy now.
I would've made sure my plastic bumpers would wreck more of your paint.
I suspect you can sense I'm just joking. Sucks this happened to you.
Not sure of the "recoil" model, But I've had the gator roll up for my ranger and now my frontier.
The fitment is always a bit poor, but you get what you pay for.
Got any pics of the gaps you're dealing with?
This ain't the 70s anymore. Modern oils as they are now are all you need, just keep up with the change intervals (never ending debate over duration) and you're basically set. Oils have enough additives in them already.
Switch to high mileage grade oil around 70-100k Miles if anything.
As for...
