I hate the brakes on my truck, hoping that gets resolved but it bugs me every time I drive it... other than that mine has been pretty good so far.
It doesn't like the negative temps very much. 2000 miles on mine.
I vote SuperCrew, with all my gear back there, I barely have room for groceries. In my case, I use the back seat a lot more than I use the bed. I think if the bed was more of a priority on my end, I would have gone with a full size truck.
I have the SuperCrew, I have no kids or pets, but I think I would really be annoyed if I didn't have my back seats for groceries and gear.
I have transported a 10ft kayak, a mattress, and a gun cabinet with no issue with the gate down in the 5ft bed.
I didn't have any choice when I purchased...
Thanks man... Will let it warm up from now on, my Subaru Crosstrek just goes no matter what, disappointed in the ranger in the cold temps.
So far in negative temps, I can't use my parking brake or it won't shut off cause the boot won't flex, or will crack the parking brake boot if you use it...
Thank you for the tips and the quick reply, that makes me feel a little better.
Never experienced such a total acceleration failure like this in any other vehicle, just seems dangerous.
I was under the impression these trucks didn't need to be warmed up, I will definitely let it warm up...
Hey guys... The other day after my truck sat outside in -5 temps all night, it had warmed up to about 10 degrees during the day and I tried to remote start the truck but it failed to remote start, not sure why. Not a big deal.
So I jumped in and didn't let it warm up at all, it reversed fine...
Hi all, I noticed recently that when I disengage the parking brake and start driving in the morning, I get a light on my dash saying the parking brake is on, I push down on the brake lever and it goes off.
I feel like the leather boot around the brake lever is keeping it from disengaging...
Did anyone else notice how thin the bed rail metal is when using clamps, you can literally bend it with your finger and the clamps definitely indent it.
Thanks... I didn't get the undercoating from the factory. I fluidfilmed it myself before the winter, it definitely stunk when it first burned off.
The day before this started was the first real time I used 4Hi, other than driving around the block one day in deep snow.
But still, why only when...
Hi All, I have a 2021 Ranger XLT with 2000 miles on it, I've had it about 5 months so all the factory burning smells are long gone. Been using remote start off and on since I got it and have never had any issues with it until now.
Last Friday I drove home from work in some real slop, slush...
