I do the same with our Crosstrek that my wife no longer uses cause she doesn't go into the office, I just drive it once a week, usually on the weekends to go grocery shopping and things like that. I try to keep the gas tank full.
The Auto Stop Start probably works the starter components more in...
That was my issue, the weight, had a 13 foot canoe that was about 100 pnds, so much easier with hitch bed extender in the bed, but if you need the bed for other things it's a different story.
I wonder if you drove the snot out of it from day one, if it would learn to shift properly from the beginning. I guess I could reset the module and find out.
The other day when it was freezing, I went out the garage and closed it with the keypad on the side of the garage, and when I came back from my walk the battery in the pad was dead and I couldn't open it. We lock the front door from the inside at night too. Luckily I had my garage door opener in...
My kayak is 10 ft (pictured in the thread above) and fits fine in the back with the tailgate down, I wouldn't put it in with the tailgate up cause I think it might warp the cheap kayak plastic (Lifetime brand crap) where it rests on the gate with the strain of the tie downs. An 8 foot yak would...
That sounds nice, when I used to ride motorcycles I waved at every bike, occasionally a Harley dude wouldn't wave back at me cause I was on a sport bike, but I did enjoy it on the motorcycle. On the bikes it was more of a "I feel your pain bro and will help you when you crash"
In a mini Cooper...
I went from WRX to Ranger, ha!
I loved the WRX, but did not like stigma associated with it and having to wave at every WRX that went by with an obnoxious exhaust.
I am so glad Ranger drivers don't wave at each other like Jeep, WRX, Mini Cooper, it's so annoying!
When I got my Ranger the sales guy went over all the bells and whistles with me and he mentioned the folding mirrors but didn't show it to me. I was sooooo happy to have that feature for my one car garage, so I got home and hit the "button" and nothing happened. I thought it was broken, then...
I don't hate the factory speakers, much better than Japanese vehicle basic stock speakers, but not the most impressive. Would be nice if there was an easy upgrade.
I had a grand Cherokee rocky mountain edition that came with the Boston Acoustic Sound System, man that was sweet. Also back when...
Wait, seriously? Tell me more please!
Or is this a blinker fluid situation I'm falling for, I just changed my headlight fluid for f's sake, and now my license plate oil is low ?
If I opened my tailgate once a month or more I would get the damper, it's on my list. In the summer it's my kayak hauler, and I can see using a damper every day.
