Then why do some of the Dealerships sell it ? The API approved OE and XL line.
Not meant to be a snarky question. ? Not to mention when guys bring the oil in to the dealership to have them put Amsoil in and there is no warranty issues or threats that there warranty would be void if.
I agree with you as well . Tyler is correct and is definitely free to spend his money and get the most out his choice of fluids that’s worth every dollar .?
Probably because ConocoPhillips sells it to Ford for super cheap and Ford can maximize there profit. Profit over premium quality sometimes is number 1 interest.
LMAO that’s a good one.

You can also be reassured that if for whatever reason if you get up to 15% of water in your Diffs, the oil will still have the protection you need until you change it again ASAP. Don’t think you’ll get that with the OEM.
Did the rear Diff last weekend. 15,000km on it. Oil was black and a little sludgy. No real noticeable metal shavings. Used the same drain plug torqued to spec.
For some it does. Some companies will shell out big bucks to have the stamp put on all there products and some will save the huge expense for that stamp. Same with myself, I run it in my Harley, 07 Mazda3, 2014 Subaru since they were new. There are quite a few warranty approved quick lubes that...
Amsoil is approved by Ford should that be your choice. There is the odd dealership that stocks it. The OE and XL lines have the paid for API stamps on them.
Do you guys know if any “How to” videos to do this job. I’m sure it is pretty straight forward. Drain plug on the bottom, fill plug up top and your good to go I assume. Just want to make sure.
TIA
100%. A buddy at work is convinced he has to use Castrol in his VW because it’s stamped on his oil cap. I told him it’s only stamped on there because Castrol and VW have a contract. You can use whatever oil you want. He then switched over and bought Amsoil from me and has never looked back. Big...
Ford actually does recognize Amsoil as a warranty approved lubricant. It took years for them to acknowledge it. With all the testing that was done with Ford and the company seeing first hand the quality and protection their motors are getting , they have agreed to let Amsoil be one of the...
I hear what your saying. It costs a lot of money to get that stamp. The API stamp just says that the oil meets the minimum standards . Same as having Dexos# stamped on the bottle. The manufacturer gets paid just to have that done. Amsoils OE line has the API stamp. The XL and Signature Series...
