When you change the battery on these Rangers , do you have to re-teach the system? My Subaru we had to re-teach the system when we did the battery on it. Kind of a pain in the butt.

Lol. It was the lack of zinc in the oil (Mobil 1) that was used for that application. The viscosity was correct just not enough zinc that Mobil had to offer, therefore wrong application. Your Friendly Amsoil “ Salesman” Have a nice day Inspector Clueso.

I’m going to use Amsoil Sig. Series 5W30 . Meets and exceeds all the specs

I love the leveling kit. I had the dealership do it as part of the purchase. An alignment had to be done. I think it improves the look of the truck.

I’m thinking the owner of the cars wasn’t using the right oil for the application. Apparently the cars needed a higher ppm of zinc for those specific motors. The motors didn’t go quickly. It was the lack of protection over time. The scaring he showed was quite severe.

Has anyone swapped out the B&O speakers in there 19 XLT Ranger for Hertz speakers and sub? If so have you noticed much of a difference? Crisper sound etc.?

I dropped the oil off to my customer and he had type motors pulled apart and showed me carnage.

Mine goes in tomorrow for it’s 8000km oil change. Will put motocraft in and then dump it at 10,000 and switch to full synthetic

Yes, lots on line as well as I have had quite a few BMW and Porsche owners switch from Mobil 1 to Amsoil due to lack of protection. Seizing bearings etc.
