Back in the 90s I worked in a body shop with a buddy. He was masking a Pontiac Tempest which was being painted with the hood open, so masked it with the prop rod in place. Shortly after he wanted the hood closed, and thought it was cylinders, so he pulled down and folded one side of the hood...
Happy it wasn't worse and nobody was hurt. Sadly that's probably still many thousands to repair, and a wait period for new parts. The good news is, it's still derivable while you wait. Good luck.
Just because it's a 6g Ranger, doesn't mean there won't be compatible parts. According to Ford, the 2024 NA Ranger will have 18.8 gallon fuel tank, which may well be the exact tank as the 5G Ranger, and may be why LRA is working on getting it to market again.
Pick a spot on the dash plastic, by your left or right knee is easy access for install and use. Drill a hole, insert switch, attach wires.
Alternately if you don't want to drill the plastic. Attach a piece of aluminum sheet or plastic sheet to the bottom edge of the dash, bolt it to the metal...
In my experience;
-Scorpions are crap, and I wouldn't put them on my vehicle.
-I like Falken Tires, but have no experience with MT01.
-Duratracs are my favorite DD/off-road tire. I'd prefer E rated over C rated if you are doing off-road, I don't find there is as much noise or MPG difference...
Personally in your position, I'd be aiming at a Lariat Tremor with tow package and bed liner. If you don't think it's got enough clearance or tire, add a level/lift, and swap to 255/80-17 which should mount without any other mods or crash bar removal.
The first question is what do you want the truck to do? All those trucks have very different purposes, and most are just for show. Do you want to go off-road, street performance, park'n'polish, or daily driver with moderate MPG, and occasional truck type activities?
No need for the breaker bar, just use the fish scale on the T-wrench directly. Set the T-wrench to XX pounds, then use the fish scale to lift the bar and see what weight it breaks at, adjust for length.
Alternately you can do the same with a bathroom scale and a floor jack. Set the wrench on...
In day time I prefer by tail lights to be off on a trailer, because most trailer lights are somewhere between crap and just okay. The difference between tail lights and brake lights is often not significant, so the transition is sometimes missed. By running the tail lights off, the brake lights...
My 2020 Ranger and my friend's 2022 Ranger both run the second option listed of auto DRL during the day but not tail lights, and full running lights (and head lights) automatic at dark.
This was the factory set up for both, we haven't made changes in forscan (I have since, but only because I...
My RTR grille lights harness has a male and female of that connector, which connects inline on the back of the headlight.
That seems like a lot of extra work and cost, compared to simply splicing into 2 wires though.
Before the incredible battery impact guns we have now, I always carried a 24" breaker and proper torque wrench. Now for day to day driving I only carry my impact gun/socket (Factory kit in case that fails, or Ford roadside if both fail). My Dewalt impact gun on medium setting and a light touch...

Really there is no truck that is designed for ploughing (or any other service vehicle either) but there is nothing inherently complex about fitting one for that purpose. Solid frame and 4x4 is really all that is required, additional weight may not be needed depending on amount and type of work.
Those fender clips are ignorant. I knew they were there, used the proper tool, was very careful and still managed to break one. Actually, worse than breaking a clip, I broke the fender trim itself where the clip attaches. Not only a terrible design using those clips, but making the clips...
