Google the part number (KB3Z-7E063-A) it will show an image. It's an L shaped, punched sheet metal piece.

Some packages do include a transmission skid plate, I had one from the factory (Lariat FX4). It's not great, but would protect against some scrapes and minor contact. I only know this because I removed mine for Shrockworks plates, and laughed at the factory piece.

The headlight harness is probably the easiest spot to get turn signal wires, so you may as well get the running lights from the same spot. Here is a link to the wiring harness.

Nice. I've been putting that job off, because it's going to be a PITA, and I have a few other jobs to finish while I procrastinate over the fenders. I'm very much hoping to do it with no welding or additional material, just cutting away to fit around the snorkel, and using some trim to fill the gap.
Took the glove box out today, and then took another video from the same spot, but I had my hand poking around underneath at the same time, so I could look back and see if I was anywhere near it. After watching the video I realized the first image made it look much deeper than it actually was...
I definitely don't like 7' out of the bed and 5' in. This is the exact scenario I bought a bed extender for, which adds 4 feet from the trailer hitch. That puts your end support at 9 feet, which reduces bouncing and adds more visibility.
Alternately I'd have the tailgate down and angled as much...
Took the princess to the vet today for her annual inspection, vaccines, and tick treatments. She was actually asleep like this when I reached for the camera, but she always wakes up when I have a camera in hand.
Hit the FORD dealer for some air filters on the way back home, and picked up an...
I picked up 2 new air filters today, and installed one to go with the new snorkel. I'll stick the used one back in the box and keep it for a fair-ish comparison between factory and snorkel air quality coming in.

That's a pretty good suggestion. I know I have some appropriate tubing at home, but not sure about magnets. I think everything that would work was in the house which burned. I'm going to try removing the glove box and maybe some other parts today, see if I can get close enough to it to use the...
When I was looking into the snorkel install, one of the videos I watched said you could use nut&bolts instead of the rivets they provide, so I removed the A pillar trim piece to prep. Of course there is an inner frame on it, and I'd have to do extensive cutting/weakening to install a nut, so I...
