Simple I didn’t have puddle lamps on mirrors. wired rock slider lights underneath to illuminate around steps at nighttime when unlocking or doors opening.

I added rock sliders to the underside of my ranger parallel to my steps. I did it for puddle like lighting when doors opened and interior lamps came on. They're white. So Amber rock sliders would shine up. Mine have been on for 5 years.

Hybrids/EV require audible when in reverse and some do it forward at slow speeds. My wife's KIA sounds like a spaceship.

Regarding amber lights and their locations. Freightliner The first truck to have overhead cabin lights. So all other trucks later including FORD wanted to look like a Freightliner.

How about this grille which I have. It doesn't say Raptor, it's from FORD. Ram and Toyota have amber lights in their production vehicles.

I'll have to go back in ForScan at my settings, but I set parking lights and fogs as DRLs. That way the grille lights were on with the park/side markers. Set low beams to off from factory XLT halogen settings.

Close all are toward the amber color not yellow. I still have to install the AlphaRex and Fogs. I did fire up the headlights and fogs to make sure they work.
