TR6 and Austin Healy had the Leyland overdrive setup. Nice setup and kept the vehicles in rpm power range. In theory (7 forward gears with the paddle switch).
I bet the 1966 MG "B is fun but winds up fast around 50 mph on highway. I've had a few leyland motors cars . I also had TR3, TR4 IRS, Tr6 and way back an Austin Healy 3000 MK3.

When I did mine a few years ago, I had a similar outcome on the passenger seat. I tried several things heat gun, sun, etc. After a few weeks and no change, I remove the seat and redid the hog rings. Mine looked like your but on the other side. I also installed during a warm September month.
That's where I'm at now except 6 years. I bought an extended warranty when I bought the truck (unlimited miles and time)..
I've always ran out of time on most vehicles in the past.

The bad part is the sub-zero temps for days. That's Fahrenheit for the "Duke" folks.
Power outages too. I can run for 36 hours or so on...
The Dealers here use the FOB to hunt the vehicle if it has one. Otherwise, they send a runner.
The complaint I have is the shuttle being a lumber wagon.
