  1. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

I bought a magnetic 19mm socket and the long 1/2ā€ extension shortly after I bought the truck for towing. I knew I’d need to check the fluid and decided to make it as easy as possible on my self. I looked at generic dipsticks, and didn’t like what I found, and then the Fitzstick was created...
  2. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

I definitely used 1/2ā€ from top and a long handled ratchet.
  3. Just Checking In,

Awesome and thanks for the update!!!
  4. Bilstein 4600 shock upgrade worth it ?

4x2 for mostly towing. Did 4600’s and blue Sumo’s on the rear the day I got the truck. No regrets.
  5. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

It is tight, but a long ratchet or breaker bar should be able to get the cap loose. As far as the wheel well liner, I did not remove it. I could reach through the back part just fine.
  6. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

A few notes. It was cold and snowy, but I was indoors, though unheated and I did the install. After having previously checked the fluid, I knew my plan. I pull the front right tire. It’s not necessary, but makes it very easy. Then I use a really long extension and flex for a socket with magnet...
  7. Is our hitch/sway bars risky?

I just saw this thread. Steve is spot on. I have an Equalizer and it works very well if set up properly. It is heavy.
  8. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

Look what came today! It’s snowing, so not sure what day I will install. In the teens for temps next week, but I might do it anyway.
  9. Do I really need aftermarket shocks?

Late to the thread. Lots of towing with my Ranger. Blue Sumos help. Bilstein 4600’s on the rear just make the truck much more comfortable. Prefer the P3 brake controller in my other truck, but have the Ford Redarc tied into the Ranger’s AEB. I use an Equalizer hitch, but they are heavy. I do...
  10. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

Mine is shipped, wire loom moved and A/C line moved. Ready to install when it arrives! Thanks for making this! I’ve been debating a stick since before I bought the truck, and was hopeful a factory like option would show up. Thnks Mike! Later this year I’ll do a service and aftermarket pan.
  11. Long Range America Tank

I’d really like the tank, but am concerned about safety and liability with that mod. I’m holding off for now and carrying a DOT approved 5 gallon can secured in the bed. Not perfect, but if prudent, generally acceptable with insurance liability.
  12. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

There was no SG 3 when I bought mine, and I’m guessing they had to figure the code out since we went back and forth on email, but they got it and it works. I’d have to search the forum or email to find it.
  13. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

Had to get customer service for the trans temp code for my ScanGuage 2 in the fall of ā€˜21, but I posted the code on the forum. It works well.
  14. Oil fill funnel

Bought the Motivx mentioned on the forum a couple of years ago and did the sand/grind down mod so it fits perfectly. It’s just nice not to have to hold the funnel while pouring. Like a damper, not essential, but nice. The damper simply made me too weak to hold the funnel anymore.
  15. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

Yee Ha! Can’t wait! I already looked at the AC line, wiring loom, and mounting point. I haven’t watched the latest video yet.
  16. Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?

Yes, family Christmas is more important than a dipstick, although I will be glad when my purchase time comes. A few years ago I made the decision to be with my parents every Thanksgiving and Christmas until they die. I know it’s getting pretty close, but I’m thankful for those times. So, go...
  17. Mishimoto/PPE trans pan comparison

Grumpaw, I can’t wait to see those test results! Oh, and be safe:)
  18. Mishimoto Transmission Pan MMTP-RGR-19

Steve, thank you. Wonder how long that ā€œOā€ ring will last. Will be interested on install and follow up, especially since we both tow a lot.
  19. Mishimoto Transmission Pan MMTP-RGR-19

With the groove in the mating surface of the pan, does it take a special gasket, or does it use the standard Ford stock pan gasket?
