I wasn't going to buy new, because it was too expensive.
So, with limited options, I searched for about 3 months to find the combo of color and options I wanted. If necessary, I'd still be looking.
Going to have it awhile, so there was no second place.
Had a 2011 Jeep Liberty with 4WD that I sold to buy the truck. Had it for about 4 years, and put about 80k miles on it. Had every option, was quite comfortable, and performed well off road.
Hope it has a good home now.
look on car-part.com. I just looked there, and it seemed there were a number of wrecked trucks with good doors. Anywhere from 600-900. Lots of white ones, with a few black, magnetic, and silver.
White must be a collision magnet.
also, and you may know, but they would deduct the entire trade value from the new purchase price, and you would pay tax only on that amount.
In your case, you pay taxes on 12k, then they add back in back in your payoff of 19k, with your new price of 31k plus taxes on 12k, if that all makes sense.
I have this same tent. Was gonna start here, then go to a rooftop. However, we stopped here, because it works well.
We bought another one with a higher rood and bigger windows for summer to let more air circulate. That works well too.
The rightline is very warm in the winter with 2 of us in...
Me too, but they put the ending mileage in the contract. Made it worth it to go out that far. It's only 6 yrs from purchase, but I put 20k miles/yr on my vehicle.
I got a warranty thru the CU, very similar to above. My truck had about 18k miles when I got it, but was beyond factory time.
I got the 125k mile warranty, which takes me thru 142k miles.
2 inch Eibach with 265/70/18 tires. I have left it at the setting they came at - 2 inches. Can go a little more if I want.
With lift only, it was good. Adding the tires with the lift is when it gets great.
