folks that aren't from around this way probably can't or don't relate to the first part of this. I have kin who were starved to death at Camp Douglas.
My home was the site of several skirmishes, right in between two large battles. Neighbors have found relics in their yards (I have never...
I'll have to look tomorrow in the light, but I am wondering if there is a place on the tailgate to attach a ratchet strap, then attach to a tow hook. If the lock is popped, you can't lower the tailgate.
if that didn't work, then I guess some of gate latch type device would keep it shut in the...
these worked. someone else had posted this link in another thread on this, so I bought them.

that's the wife's carry. I have actually been looking for another mag for it, but like everything, they're kinda pricey. I'll probably roll over to the Glock HQ in Smyrna and see what they can do on a couple mags.
My carry is a G30.
Sorry, forgot to add: I got her a Sticky holsters for it...
so, if you're one of the lucky ones not having an issue with the current sync, is there any reason to "upgrade" to 23188? Does it add anything or work better? Current one is fine, and I'm afraid to upgrade and create problems.
A couple of comments relative to all of the above:
- for me, the phone has good gps. with downloaded google maps, i can be in the wilderness, select a destination, and it will navigate me there
- GAIA is good for trails, but not nav. When I upload from trails offroad, all of the waypoints...
here's a few more:
back in the summer. same campsite at the lake.
same trip, toting kayaks. i don't know that this overlook is named, it just surprises you as you come around a sharp curve in the forest, and there it is.
McKeown Falls at the top of Johns Mountain. Gotta hike up there...
I do this too. It works really well to be able to upload them to Gaia.
I downloaded all of the maps around me for the Google maps app, and it actually has many of the forest service roads around me in it. The Gaia map has topos on it, so that is interesting to watch as you ride.
Gaia and...
Thanks! Looks like we have the same truck!
The campsite was Lake Conasauga. It's only open til the end of Oct, then opens up again in March or April. The roads were around there - exploring in Cohutta wilderness. Some of those roads are closed Jan - Mar. It's about 2 hours from you.
I see...
Had a chance to get out to the wilderness the past few days and do some truck stuff. It was muddy in spots since it rained for about 48 straight hours.
Took one unmaintained road to the top of a mountain at about 3800 ft. Pics don't do it justice. It was barely one vehicle wide, and kinda...
Boot does not appear to.be torn. Tbh, not sure where the grease is coming from. But, given that it's due over the cv axle I fixed, that must be it.
Install of a new probably ain't too terrible. I was surprised when I took it out to fix it before how easily the axle came out. I replaced one...
The one I got is 38-40 caliber. I bought some so I can shoot it, but I will have to start making my own if I plan to shoot that gun much.
That ammo must be gold plated or something.
Well, while installing the leveling kit, I torqued up the cv pretty badly. Had to pull it, take it apart, repair it, and reinsert.
The truck has started to make a little noise on the side. I was under it today doing something else (ok - installing a inch), and I noticed cv joint grease on the...
Finally picked up a Winchester 73. Mine is a 1882 model, and is really gorgeous. I have been wanting one for a long time, so I am glad to get it.
It was refinished sometime ago, so that probably dings its value a bit. But, it is in great shape.
