  2. Tow mirrors.

Ok, finally unpacked from traveling and got time to get these mounted on. Took a short drive with them also. Like I stated previously these are really well designed and built. Easy installation and they drive really well. I went with the XL mirror heads and they are great. Won’t get to use them...
  3. Transmission "Jolt" when stopping - Feels like something hitting the bed

Is the limited 3000 mile warranty from the dealer that sold you the used truck and also found no issue? If so you may want to have a different dealer do a diagnostic on it. Might cost you a diagnostic fee but you’ll get an unbiased opinion.
  4. Aftermarket Carrier Bearing

I have one of their setups ordered for my 2022 Tremor. I’m not spending $1400 for a Knoxville aluminum shaft for the Tremors. Watching the install video reassured me. They mention loctite usage on all hardware. There were previous posts questioning the bolts loosening. I looked a reviews of the...
  5. New TSB - Harsh Shifts - Covering (After 8-16-22) 22-23 Rangers Only

According to this latest TSB it looks like the updated outer shell or trash can began being installed in transmissions around September of 2024. So no production 5g’s have the updated shell. But any replacement transmissions built after 09/24 would have it. So my replacement transmission that...
  6. Transmission Replacement after Tune?

Maybe we should start a new poll. ā€œ How many of you totaled your truck after installing a tune?ā€
  7. Tow mirrors.

Hahaha. Got home from Florida at 2pm today. Unloaded the car and just opened the box. Quickly threw one of the mounts on to see. I’m impressed, nice design and quality materials. I’ll get them fully mounted up in the next day or two and grab some pics. Thanks again for recommending these.
  8. PSA.. Teach your Ranger how to Swim

The only way that I would try that is if my wife was in danger on the other side ..,,.maybe
  9. Updated transmission parts

Here’s from the TSB that explains that technicians are supposed to ā€œcarefully inspect and replace other transmission components as necessary ā€œ while repairing the CDF issue. ā€œ NOTE: If internal transmission service is required to address a concern detected with the CDF clutch cylinder following...

  11. These look cool! Sway bar links

FWIW I emailed Apex customer support and asked to clarify if they fit both the 5G and the 6G Raptor. They replied and confirmed that they are compatible to both .
  12. Updated transmission parts

I must have been an outlier. 2022 with 17K . Fluid level and condition were great. Driven normally and maybe 400-600 miles of towing each year. Short 50 to 200 mile round trips, flat and 60- 80 degree temps. Saw my trans temp reach 230 once for about 5-10 minutes in some hills then back down to...
  13. Updated transmission parts

But you would think a 2022 with under 40K wouldn’t be there yet
  14. Updated transmission parts

The big concern is the debris created by the CDF drum failure causing friction material and possibly some fine metals to get in the valve body and can cause valves to stick or hang up. There’s been several posts on here where the CDF drum was repaired but nothing done with the valve body and...
  15. These look cool! Sway bar links

There’s 5g Ranger Raptor’s in Australia and other ROW countries. No idea what suspension they have. But I think these are for the 6G’s. They just have a wording issue I believe.
  16. These look cool! Sway bar links

Thank you for your service šŸ˜‚
  17. These look cool! Sway bar links

They also say these fit the Raptor. Search by 2024 (6G) leads to these. There’s no 5G search option. Maybe the links are the same on 5G and 6G Raptor??? That would be surprising
