I had the same issue, it turned out to be my back window seal was leaking. I found it wet under my front floor mat, then investigating further, found it was wet along the sill towards the back. The dealer called in their "leak guy" and then proceeded to fix the seal and dry out the carpet, but...
Line-X premium here in VA is $650, so I went with the Bullet brand spray in liner for $500 and lifetime warranty. The person who started Bullet Liner is supposed to be one of the original creators of line-X. I just got mine done on Wednesday from the same shop who did my lift and it looks...
I installed their under the backseat version this past weekend. I too had a couple of swear words! The plastic filling in the cubby hole came out easily. I was pissed they didn't include at least one spare nut, since you have to contort your hand to get them on and when I dropped one it was a...
Looks awesome. My poor black ranger has to sit outdoors under pine trees, wife gets the garage! I just ordered a huge sun shade to try and keep it covered. Maybe then I will clean mine up like yours. What did you use for the paint correction to get that mirror finish?
We had had two rainstorms, some snow and no leaks, looks like they fixed it! They also replaced the carpet, said after drying it, they saw mold forming. My truck smells better now. At least this dealer is better than the last one I was going to.
As soon as I get it back from the shop again, I'll get some pics for you. They have had my truck for almost two weeks fixing the leak from the back window, waiting on new carpet to come in.
Dealer called today, looks like the water was coming in from the back window seal. They are going to reseal it and dry my carpet out, should get it back on Friday. I hope the carpet doesn't get funky smelling when it warms up around here.
wow 30mpg, are you riding downhill with a tail wind? I just hit 20mpg for the first time since I had my truck and over half of that was highway driving. I was getting around 15mpg, but that was because of hour plus long bumper to bumper traffic going into work. Once a couple of carriers left...
Hope it's not from the windshield, because mine is aftermarket tinted and if they replace it, I will have to shell out another $250 to get it re-tinted.
I've had my lariat for about three months and haven't had that issue. Sounds like a trip to the dealer, hope yours is better than mine. Every issue I take to them they can't duplicate or I think they don't want to duplicate it.
It's just water, but smells musty and the carpet is only wet about halfway across starting towards the door, that is why I was thinking it was leaking near the door sills. I guess this is why my truck never had that new car smell, I thought it was the leather seats.
door sills on both sides are wet, but it's only the carpet on the driver's side that is soaked. It rained hard Tuesday and i didn't go to work yesterday, so it didn't get driven.
Has anyone had an issue with the carpet being wet in the floorboard? My driver's side is wet. I have noticed water on my door sills and wondering if that is causing the water in my floorboard. I have a worthless service department at my Ford dealer, so before I drive miles to the next nearest...
