Look into Tesa Tape, that is what the manufacturers use on a lot of their wiring. It's that black kind of fuzzy stuff. they make different versions for interior wiring and high heat versions for under the hood. Tesa tape should be used along with heat shrink and soldering.

The update is live again for my 2019 Lariat 501A. It was live a couple of weeks ago, but I wanted to give it time to work any bugs out. Went to download it this weekend and it said my 3.3 was up to date, but tonight 3.4.20136 is available again.

I went to safelite for my 2019 Ranger and asked for an OEM replacement. I've had no problems with the installation and the re-calibration went smoothly.

I was quoted Line-X for $550 plus $125 for UV protection. Found out that Bullet liner was started by one of the founders of Line-X and I got the bullet liner installed for $500 and that comes with the UV protection and has the same sheen as the Line-X with the UV.

Mine had a chip similar to that and when Safelite did the repair, it caused cracks on each side of the repair, then two days later it went 3/4 across the whole windshield. I requested an OEM replacement and luckily my insurance company will cover OEM if it's current year minus one, so I'm good...
