Hey dudes,
I'm having trouble finding an inflatable mattress for my 5ā short bed. All I seem to find are mattresses for long bedsāthe shortest Iāve seen are 5.5ā?
I got a Napier Sportz Tent recently for a camping trip and I want to get a mattress for it.
Can anyone help point me in the right...
Thanks everyone!
I ended up finding a slightly used Napier Sportz tent for $140 on OfferUp. Looking forward to using it and seeing how well it works. Still on the hunt for a mattress.
Thanks! Looks awesome.
Did you get the mattress direct from the website too? When I added the tent to my cart it asked if I wanted to purchase a mattress too.
Do their mattresses have the cut outs for the wheel wells? I canāt tell from the pic on the website.
Hey dudes/dudettes,
Going on a glamping weekend trip to Joshua Tree, CA next month.
I was thinking of buying a tent that attaches to the bed of my ā19 Ranger.
Anyone have any experience with these?
Good? Bad? Worth it? Not worth it?
Recommendations?
Thanks!
Thanks Rich. Iāll check that tomorrow. Iām pretty sure I got the right one, but it wonāt hurt to double check.
I did all that today: remove flap, turn wheel, check filter. I even removed it and cleaned the area as well as I could with a rag, then hit it with brake cleaner afterwards.
Youāre...
Hey dudes, adding a video to this post.
Summary:
Changed my own oil.
Mistakenly left gasket on from old filter (STP filter), put on the new filter (first time using OEM Ford filter), started the truck and oil spilled EVERYWHERE.
Removed filter, removed old gasket, replaced filter. Sprayed it...
Sweet! Iām originally from South Florida, but live in Los Angeles now. Not nearly as much rain, but this winter has been nuts! Making me feel like Iām back in my home state.
I have an XLT with 17ā stock rims so 265/70 is he biggest I can go without rubbing.
I was looking at my local Costco and they didnāt have the LE3. They have Destination XT, AT2 and MT2, and Transforce? Are any of those similar to the LE3?
Not that I have to buy them at Costco, but I love me some Costco. Plus I think they have warranty and maintenance and other stuff if you...
Thanks Tom! I appreciate your candid feedback.
I do have some Continentals on my bicycle that I love haha. I donāt mind paying a little more for something of high quality. The older you get the more you realize: you get what you pay for.
Plus, I donāt put a ton of miles on my truck so theyāre...
Those look great! I think Iām leaning Michelin LTX, those seem to fit my needs. Theyāre not ābeefyā looking off-road tires, but they definitely look nice and better than what Iāve got.
Ha! I bet. Iāve been wanting to do mods to my truck slowly, without doing anything too drastic that I might regret. Tires seem like the next good step. I hope I donāt get tempted to go bigger, but my parking garageās ceiling height should be a good deterrent.
Thanks for the input.
It seems like beefy is not really what Iām going for, based on these responses. I'm more looking for a bigger tire that will fit the wheel well more, not necessarily a beefier tire. The lift is a hopeful by-product of the bigger tire, not a necessity. But I definitely...
Frenchy, thank you!!
Yup, clearly going for looks. The only time Iāll go off road is if I ever drive up into the mountains and I happen to hit a dirt road or something. Which maybe has happened once or twice in my couple years owning my truck. Are there All Season tires that look ābeefyā?
