Thanks, Chris. Yeah I know it wonāt be cheap, but thatās the punishment I get for being a knucklehead. Iād rather spend a little more to get something quality.
Hey all,
I finally did itāI got into my first little āaccidentā with my truck.
I backed into a delivery truck and busted my passenger side tail light. Totally my fault, but goddamnit he wasnāt parked in a proper loading zone!! š¤¬
I heard the back-up sensor beeping, but not rapidly, so I...
Hey all,
Iāve aired my tires to 35psi, but the Ford app and dash readings still say 39-40psi when cold. Iāve checked twice with a manual tire gauge and theyāre at 35psi.
Anyone have any idea whatās going on? Do I need to update tire sizes via Forscan to fix it?
Hey all,
Me again.
Do you think I need to recalibrate my speedometer now that itās off? I knew it would be off and Iāve noticed itās about 2-3 mph off depending on speed. I donāt drive very fast and I just have to be more conscious of my speed when Iām going a bit over the speed limit.
If you...
Oof! Weāll see how much these affect my MPGs, Iām assuming at least a little bit. I may do some Bilsteins on the front to go with the ones I put on the rear, but not a necessity right now.
Thanks for sharing! Great looking truck.
Just under 58k. Have had the truck over 3 years, have put about 32k miles on it, same tires Iāve had since I bought it. Not a great brand of tire.
Lately I think Iāve felt it pulling a little to the right, but sometimes I think it may be the road and could be all in my head.
Hey all,
Finally getting my tires on today.
BFG Trail Terrain in 265/70/17⦠white letters out!
Will I need an alignment? They check it for free at the tire place and Iām sure theyāll try to upsell me, but Iāll do it if itās recommended by you guys on here.
Thanks, Frenchy!
I will be sticking to pavement, mainly. I want a road tire that looks āoff-roadyā but wonāt kill me too much in MPGs and road noise on the road. These seem to check those boxes.
Finally gonna upgrade my tires!
Iām thinking Iāve settled on BFG Trail Terrains in 265/70/17.
Anyone have them and can share some pros/cons?
I got quoted $1,077 out the doorāseems like a good deal, no? Iām in Los Angeles.
I do not have warranty. I did however do a tranny drain and fill about 1k miles ago. It hadnāt given me any problemsāother than the typical rough shiftāit was just preventative maintenance.
