I switched over to 75w140 on my 2023 in the front and the rear and have seen no negatives in doing so. I’m hoping it will provide better protection long term.
I’ve had good luck with General Altimax RT45. They are priced well and have great all weather traction! Before my Ranger, I had an 05 Town Car and I preferred them over Michelins on that car.
My in-laws 2023 had this happen a few weeks ago in Wisconsin when it was near -20 degrees. The next key cycle it was off and has stayed off. I told them to chalk it up as a freak thing due to the extreme cold.
I was all set to buy the Dorman pan a few months back from Rockauto until I read the reviews elsewhere. I was bummed, but bit the bullet and bought the deep PPE pan and have no regrets! Well made and no leaks!
Yep, I keep it in a straight line, accelerate to about 30 or so, then stop and switch it back to 2wd. I may turn around and do it over again, usually on a dead end street with no traffic.
I stuck with the stock paper filter and sold my K&N on marketplace?. 6,000 miles on the Ford Performance tune with no issues. Pulls hard and doesn’t skip a beat. I always use 93 octane as well.
Yeah I’ve wondered that too. I plan to have it as my daily driver for at least the next decade, so I see it as maintenance/parts to help it last longer than without. Makes sense to me anyway?.
I installed the PPE deep pan on my 23 with 9,000 miles. Went ahead and replaced the filter too. I have the #30 Fitzstick prototype and I’m so glad lol. It took right about 8.5 quarts to fill it and I added a 15 ounce bottle of Lubeguard Platinum. I also reset the adaptives, so I’ll give it some...
This was an axle seal leak on my father in law’s 2023 with about 6,000 miles. The axle/seal was replaced under warranty. Up close it had that unique gear oil smell lol.
Every couple of months I plug in my ProCal to my laptop to check for updates. Today the software updated to 2.970, but now the device says “registry error” and does not show my stock or performance tune files. Has anyone else had this issue? I’ve restarted the device, computer and tried other...
What size did you end up with? I have a set of Trail Terrains on my wife’s Tiguan and they do well! I plan to get a set for my Ranger when the time comes and stepping up to 265/65/18 over the 265/60/18 from the factory.
