@mike probably has nailed the most “economical” way to get a manual in this truck. If you got the will, skills, and lots of dollar bills more power to you converting your US Ranger. But personally if I’m going to cut up a brand new vehicle I’m not stopping with just a manual trans swap:bandit:
I doubt they will ever be able to tune for this to happen. The reason I say that is because it typically takes 5-10 minutes or sometimes more to flash a new ECM and TCM tune and the vehicle has to be shut off during this process. I just don’t see it being possible to have it re-flash with tunes...

@RCMUSTANG Probably has the most performance mods on the site currently, I’m sure he could tell you about benefits of some of the current after market items. Right now AFE seems to be leading the charge with down pipes, exhausts and charge pipes. A bigger intercooler will help also, Ford...
Pre collision and lane keep can be easily turned off, two messages that pop up on center display when you start truck. Fact of the matter is your not going to purchase a new truck without these features anymore. But I think some of the members have disabled the messages via forscan or service...
Sunocos around us are typically small family owned operations without the infrastructure to support 4 fuel grades. But you can also find some that offer ethanol free or and even VP race fuel on pump
