  1. FX4 Suspension Bounce

FX4 suspension is tuned for off-road performance, you need more ā€œbounceā€ in the shocks to absorb uneven terrain
  2. DIY bike rack

    Pretty nifty
  3. GFB DV+

Definitely poor customer service from Panda, I have ordered twice with shipping issues both times. Would recommend ordering from another vendor if you want your parts quick, or to have any idea as to when you will actually receive your order
  4. Toyota TRD

Toyota bought back my ā€˜99 Tacoma PreRunner due to frame rot. The issue was VERY real, I was about to replace brake shoes and the jack broke my frame in 2. I took my fat check from Toyota and went and bought a GMC Seirra, never again will Toyota get me in one of their trucks
  5. The paint on these trucks stains easily from Bird poop

Poop on my Ranger I come back hard :sunglasses:
  6. Scrub Radius?

My Ranger hugs the road better than almost every other vehicle I’ve owned in the past, it’s hands down the best handling truck I’ve ever driven. That being said I personally wouldn’t do anything to alter Fords steering geometry since It does so well from the factory
  7. Anyone experience this on a Ranger?

It’s all about how your operate the gas pedal with this transmission, and I (as well as everyone that has ridden in my Ranger) agree it is the smoothest shifting transmission available. If you are smooth on the throttle and stay steady on throttle through the shift points it is fantastic. On the...
  8. Horrible MPG's

Cruise control, especially if you have adaptive is also a major gas saver
  9. Horrible MPG's

Many of us have found better MPG by adding some air to the tires. Most have been rolling off dealer lots at 30-32 PSI which is the recommendation, but I have found 40 PSI to be perfect for me
  10. Report your MPG

I’m not complaining about my mileage at all. I was seeing great mileage during break in and the first 1K after break in. Then I started leaning on it a little more . I love my Ranger, haven’t second guessed my decision to purchase one time, and getting over 19 MPG avg with how I drive is...
  11. Report your MPG

Man 70 MPH is turtle speed on the highways where I live lol. That being said I guess I’ll report currently averaging 19.6 MPG in the Ranger. Almost 10k miles, probably 60/40 City Highway, Auto Stop/Start Disabled always, hauling tools/equipment 60% of time 500-1000 lbs. Been a brutal summer so...
  12. GFB DV+

@PandaMotorworks feel free to use photo and future videos that I will post
  13. GFB DV+

Huge improvements in drive ability, I’ll try to get a couple videos up soon. The sound is not very noticeable under normal driving conditions, but it’s VERY noticeable at WOT:crackup:
  14. What are your thoughts on normal wear and tear / environmental paint damage?

If you do any kind of truck stuff in these new Rangers just prepare for dings and dents. All of the metal is super thin and takes a dent way too easy. I’m at 9600 miles, and use my truck constantly for hauling my tools/equipment around, along with a few trips into the woods. I’ve probably got...
  15. First Encounter in the "Wild" (Ranger's Spotted Megathread)

Saw a magnetic Supercrew with temp tags on my way home near Springboro, OH today. I think it had black appearance package but hard to tell as I couldn’t get a great look at it mid left turn and he was turning opposite left at a weird offset intersection
  16. A ding in the windshield. The moment you say "it won't happen to me" it will.

If you pick up enough windshield dings for insurance to have a problem with it, I would say you ought to try not following people so closely :like:
  17. A ding in the windshield. The moment you say "it won't happen to me" it will.

Just call your insurance company and request that they waive your deductible and get a new windshield. If you live in Kentucky, Florida and a couple other states there is automatically zero deductible for windshield replacement
  18. GFB DV+

[/ATTACH] Received at local UPS today and installed in about 10 minute s. Super easy swap out, and what an improvement in throttle response. And the VTA is awesome, I can finally hear that little turbo kickin!!!
  19. Letting Others Drive Your New Ranger

My wife and brother are the only other people to drive my Ranger. And I had some serious hesitation letting the wife drive it
  20. Ceramic Seal Coat Prep. for the Ford Ranger

I started using the Mothers Claybar 2.0 gimmick on my last truck and haven’t looked back. I’ve thrown away too many pieces of clay after dropping them. I do however still prefer real clay for doing my windows as the Mothers 2.0 doesn’t quite fit down in the nooks and crannies
