New owner member quick question. Just picked up the truck a few hours ago so still learning. First of all: 1) Yes i read the manual 2) Yes i tried the search function. The manual and most of the reviews i googled and everything on the ford website said there was supposed to be 3 modes: Alert...
  7. New guy. Need ranger owners opinions on the rough country 2.5 kits

We have very similar packages as i am getting the Lariat super crew fx4 501A, chrome pckg, tow pckg and spray in liner. Biggest difference looks like tire size. When i did my mustang last year i went ahead and did camber plates, bumpsteer, torsion arms, shocks, springs and everything just to...
  8. New guy. Need ranger owners opinions on the rough country 2.5 kits

Alright guys, back on topic. Ride quality/premature wear? Car shop guy's attitude? Ranger owners real world experience?
  9. New guy. Need ranger owners opinions on the rough country 2.5 kits

Unless you are driving more than 1,000 a month the difference in a few mpg is about the difference of a meal at Texas Roadhouse. People get too weird about a loss of a few mpg. Now if you drive more than 1,000 a month, it starts to compound and become an issue.
  10. New guy. Need ranger owners opinions on the rough country 2.5 kits

Not to derail my question but, how many mpg we talking? My Raptor gets less than 13 on the highway (no leveling kit but it has the 4.10 gears) and i was hoping id still get 20 after the break in period (you never get close to advertised mpg in the first 10k to 15k miles which makes the car...
  11. New guy. Need ranger owners opinions on the rough country 2.5 kits

I feel like this question may get a bunch of beating a dead horse emoticons but i feel i should ask. Regarding the move to a 2.5 inch rough country lift and larger BFG KO tires 285/65/18. Forums: "Don't do it it changes the front end geometry and causes premature wear and ruins ride quality"...
  12. Paint Brake Calipers or Not ?

I just joined and my second post here is to tell you no don't do that ghetto shat to your truck. My Mustang has a set of $2,400 2 piece light weight willwood front brakes and they just happened to be red (i would of preferred black but got a crazy good deal on red). It is literally a joke to...
  13. First time poster, quick question 2.5 kit with 286/65/18 KOs

Hey guys this is my first post. I am doing a magnetic Lariat fx4 with chrome and tow package and dealer installed spray on bed liner, Rough Country 2.5 inch leveling kit and a set of BFG KO 285/65/18 tires. (going through the dealer means i pay no taxes etc for the parts and labor). What is...
