As others said, take a look at the mount points (those are body mounted) and if they don't look too mangled up, just jack it back up into place.
Better solution is remove and buy some that bolt to the frame, but that would indeed become a more expensive Starbucks run.
RSI Smartcap ordered 3/29. No ETA.
Contacted for update 7/15 and was told they think they are on a boat somewhere, but have no clue when they will show up.
Wes, appreciate all the info. As expected, a lot of discussion around cost for the product, but not everyone wants another project when a solution is out there that saves time...
I have a question about your fitment issue. On the website, it actually says the opposite, that the kit requires...
Same... I had hoped to squeak by outside the date range, but nope.
As for the stickers. My understanding is that they don't replace the windshield, just remove, clean sealant and reset properly... So stickers should never have to be removed, which is what I'm hoping is true for the ceramic...
Shrockworks Sliders and Prinsu Roof Rack added today. Well... Technically only the driver side slider is installed. They shorted me some hardware, so I have a note out to them. Might get impatient and work with a machine shop Tuesday to fab up 2 additional backer plates and a stick nut.
They called me yesterday and told me next week they should go live on the site. Apparently they just sent stock off to get anodized to be ready to ship right when they go live.
Still available.
Tremor Side Steps do not bolt to the frame, they bolt to body like traditional running boards.
I kept the bolts to fill the body holes, but you should have the factory holes. There are 6 per side.
Bolts:
flanged M10 with a thread pitch of 1.50. You will need 12 bolts, 20mm...
Bedliner, Tint, PPF finally got completed by the dealer accessory company.
20% on fronts and bumped up rear to match, 80% on windshield.
Have to wait for the PPF to cure on the front so I can finally give the truck the 303 treatment...
Hoping to get slider install done in the next week or...
Glad they finally got you dialed in, but what a pain! I'm at a point where I demand loaners or rental cars for all warranty work... Dealers seem to just have too much going on and expect people to be fine without their vehicle for extended periods. One day always seems to turn into more.
Sweet! I'd definitely be down to join on some trips. I am not on Facebook however. Instagram is pretty much the extent of my social media. PM me if you guys have anything planned though!
Seems like the unfortunate, but obvious solution. Something happened in the cylinder to allow the key out when not in the off position. Maybe a defective unit with sloppy tolerances or something. Should be a warranty repair though, hopefully.
I think you might have pressed the nuts in from the wrong side... I agree the instructions are not the best, but once I took a step back to think about the physics/mechanics instead of trying to read the instructions, everything snugged up nicely.
RokBlokz XL in black. They flex for off-road use so they won't get hung up on rocks or cause clearance issues.
I have mine pushed as far out as they will go.
No write-ups for the easy stuff, but I removed the Tremor Side Steps (still need to install the Shrockworks sliders), installed the Raptor style grill, morimoto Side Markers, Mishimoto intake, Turbosmart Blowoff, Tailgate Damper, Tailgate Letters and RokBlokz.
Forgot to pop the hood for...
I've had a wild ride the last 4 years. Lived in a 2017 4x4 Sprinter for a couple years, then with the campgrounds getting flooded with people during the pandemic, I "settled down" on a ranch in Montana. The ranch wasn't meant to be my forever spot and life/career brought me back to the Denver...
