For sure. The efficiency really drops off fast above 70 with the big vans, especially in a head wind. I usually compromised as 75 on my max, unless it was super windy and then dropped to 70 for safety. Passing through Wyoming is no joke with a full size van. Makes it a chore to drive!

Others have had the same thing. Not sure that anyone has ever found a cause for it going into this weird "deep" sleep mode. Some reported disconnecting the negative and reconnecting and it worked after, others had the same experience as you. Haven't heard of anyone that ran into it twice yet...

Yes, cut the original molding and tape or glue back in place. One section they could have used a factory bolt to help hold back down. For wind noise, you are missing the leading edge trim. It goes on the lower edge of the wind deflector and makes a big difference.

I think people are just confused as to what you did purchase it for, so they are trying to guess.
