These don't plug into the obd port. There's an electric sending unit that tees into the same manifold port - instead of having to run tubing to the gauge, you run a wire from the sending unit to the gauge. It simplifies the install a bit, and also gets rid of the needle fluctuation issue, and...
Excuse my naivety here, but why not run an electric boost gauge? Essentially the samE installation, but you don't need to run a vacuum tube into the cabin.
I had these (boost and EGT) on my built WRX, and loved them. Never an issue, some nice features, and install way easier...
I received and installed mine today as well. I couldn't imagine paying for the installation, and if any ever issues, I don't get how me vs. some other shop pressing buttons makes a difference as far as warranty.
Only driven maybe 20 miles, but enjoying the extra bit of torque, but mostly the...

That was a previous drunken purchase. Or maybe it was crack that night, who knows. All I know is how cool I look when that baby smoothly opens up - People look right past my skinny arms.
Installed a JB4 this week on the Ranger with ~300 miles on the odometer..
Definitely a nice improvement over stock. Since I tend to go through so many vehicles, I leased the Ranger and didn't want to deal with anything that wasn't easily removable or resellable. I previously had a Infiniti...
Hi everyone! I picked up a new Ranger Lariat FX4 a few weeks ago. It was somewhat of a need-driven purchase since I couldn’t fit much of anything in the trunk of my Q50 Red Sport.
So far, I’m really liking it. I do miss the acceleration and power of the Infiniti, but not as much as I thought I...
