It’s actually been perfect. I love the tech, the power and torque, and I’ve gotten used to the size now. I don’t think I could go back to a Ranger at this point though.
The 7.2kw ProPower on board generator has been a life saver a few times as well. I've powered my house, and done some roadside...
I got nothing other than, Fuck Cancer.
It's affected many loved ones and I'm silently waiting for my turn.
Hoping it turns to be a mild non-event for you. ?
The JB4 platform is solid. Just know what fuel and mapping you should use - you can still break things if you choose poorly.
I had one one my Ranger, and Infiniti Q50 S, with zero issues. It's well engineered and a solid product.
It's your motor. ??‍♂️
I'm not against tuning, just keep your big boy pants (and wallet) at the ready.
Note: I no longer have a Ranger. I do have a Livernois tuned F150 pushing 500whp/600lb/ft though.
I no longer have a Ranger, but I have TuxMats in my F150. They are far superior to Weathertech and Husky, imo. I had the Husky liners in my Ranger, and Weathertechs in previous vehicles.
It looks like they do offer them for the Ranger too -...
The F150 Powerboost is the sweet spot, IMO. Tons of hp/torque, 700 mile range and great towing ability. Along with a 7.2kw generator on board. So most of the goodies of the Lightning, without range anxiety.
The only thing I miss about my Ranger is its size in a parking lot, but I've gotten...
Not sure if this is allowed, or even the correct forum, but figured I'd pass it along - you can use 'GOFURTHER15' as a discount code for a 15% off from https://merchandise.ford.com
I ordered a few shirts for me and a teddy bear for the granddaughter.
Certainly, I expected that and have learned to deal with it - though it seems to be a common complaint even from people who upgraded from previous F150 generations.
I'm sure I'm an outlier here, but have you considered an F-150? You can get your V6 twin turbo goodness, more room, features, tech, etc.. On the downside, the turning radius sucks, but that's been my only complaint since trading in my Ranger back in December.
I found these in the garage. Free locally (Tampa, FL area). If you want to pay for actual shipping costs, still free.
I'll vacuum them before I send them out. ? They were in the truck for maybe a week before they were replaced with Weathertech liners.
Been lurking, but happy to see you got this sorted. ? I had the Ford Performance tune on my Ranger (which I believe is a milder Livernois tune?) and enjoyed it.
The Livernois 93 performance tune on my F150 Powerboost.. Wow.. and, wow. ?
