  1. Another one bites the dust..

So, after a few weeks in the new truck.. No regrats. ? It's still more than I need, but after a few mods and breaking my forscan cherry, I'm very satisfied.
  2. Florida Burger Tuning JB4 for Ranger

C'mon! The new baby needs more power! Last chance before ebay. Make it hurt..
  3. Florida Burger Tuning JB4 for Ranger

Seems to be the case... JB4s have a big following in other communities - BMW, Infiniti, and even the Ford 3.5 EcoBoost. Not so much on the Ranger side, though still safe and very effective.
  4. Florida Burger Tuning JB4 for Ranger

Someone wants this, I'm sure of it. ? It's going on eBay next week - get it while it's cheap!
  5. Florida Sold: Burger Tuning JB4 for Ranger

Selling a very lightly used JB4 and wireless connection kit that I bought a while back. https://burgertuning.com/products/jb4-for-ford-ranger-ecoboost-and-raptor It was on the truck for maybe 300 miles before I went with the Ford Performance tune. (for transmission reprogramming reasons). I...
  6. Another one bites the dust..

Finally delivered tonight. I'll eventually get used to the size, but it drives beautifully - torque for days....
  7. Another one bites the dust..

570 ft/lbs puts a smile on the face.. It will be another adjustment in size to get used to it, but overall, I'll enjoy it in the long run. My wallet, not so much... My wife smartly didn't ask how much I paid either. Also, I will miss my tailgate dampener and will watch my arms slowly wilt when...
  8. Another one bites the dust..

Sometimes poster, mostly lurker.. I reached a point where the Ranger just wasn't enough at times. I bit the bullet and got a 2022 F150 Lariat Powerboost - delivery tomorrow. :) More truck than I need, but hopefully the last one for a while. That said, I have a Burger Motorsports JB4 tuner...
  9. Waterproofing Particle Board

    Epoxy resin maybe?
  10. Cordless Tool Recommendations

You're essentially buying into the battery system, and what possible tools you may need within that sphere. Most any brand from a big box will work for home use, though I don't have much experience outside of Makita. All my cordless tools are Makita, though I do have a corded Ryobi bandsaw...
  11. Favorite Grill … ??

Recte(c)q gang! I rarely use my gas or charcoal setup any longer, but refuse to get rid of them. Oh, and I like the Raptor style grille for the Ranger. ?
  12. School me on window tint.

Same. AirBlue 80 on the windshield and ceramic 18% on side and back windows. Not noticable, and almost a requirement here in FL.
  13. Is This Bad? ?

? My main concern is tire integrity. A puncture is physical damage to the structure of the tire. Neither type of repair is 100% as good as an undamaged tire. A plug does fill the hole, but may leak over time, fall out, or possibly allow moisture to penetrate into the steel core, leading to...
  14. Is This Bad? ?

You also used a rotary phone 40 years ago. ? Technology advances and sometimes improvements come with it. ? That said, in a pinch, those OG plugs will get you home. I personally wouldn't trust them long term, especially if you drive sustained highway speeds. My 0.02..
  15. JEEP IN A BOX

They can be torn down quicker than that too. ?
  16. FX4 Payload

Ahh. That does make a little more sense. I have the black appearance package, which adds 18" wheels and spray in bedliner. It also came with a factory added weather guard truck box, so I guess it all removd a bit of total payload capacity.
  17. FX4 Payload

My 2020 Lariat FX4 501a with towing package shows 1330lbs. Strange, to me, that there's so much variance between everyone.
  18. Mileage When Ordered Truck Arrived

My 2020 had 28 miles at signing in October 2020 - 10-15 of which were from my test drive. Currently at 3715 miles (I need to drive more..)
