I pieced this together for my rooftop tent setup last summer. I wanted a hard mount, quick release setup that would fit around my hard rolling tonneau cover (also for sale...)
I've since changed up my camping setup so this one is for sale. Included:
54" Yakima track/rail system to...
Not with the method I used... proprietary in-house stuff you can’t get on shelves.
FORScan effectively does the same thing for aftermarket support, but that team needs to reverse engineer the addresses first. It takes them a while.
You MIGHT be able to go to the dealer, and have them hook up...
I was never here...
I have disabled it in my truck, but I have certain... tools. I can't help with aftermarket solutions. The FORScan crew should be able to figure it out before too long. They just need the right address and config settings for the DSP module.
Rangers definitely have this. It can be disabled in the DSP module. You might need to wait for ForScan support to do it without proprietary Ford tools.
You mostly don't hear it on a stock audio system until your foot is close to the floor.
I disabled it in my truck, but I'm not a... "civilian"...
There are two sound processing features in the new Ranger: ESE (Engine Sound Enhancement) and ANC (Active Noise Cancellation.)
All Rangers have ESE. It uses speed, load & pedal via CAN and plays back simulated engine noises. You really can't hear it until you're pretty deep in the pedal...
Roush spends considerably more time testing and validating than pretty much any other tuner you'll find. They actually run durability fatigue tests on an engine dyno, just like Ford. You can bet they're as safe as it gets. And... with this being called "L1", they likely have more coming...
