How do you know the kit instructions with specs do not come with the kit, yours will arrive tomorrow?
I've attached the Service Manual for the front end, and it does have the specs for the struts. Compare to what you found and let us know.
I would hope the kit comes with instructions with the torque specs. I ordered my 3" leveling kit from Ford Ranger LIfts, be here in a few days.
If it does not, you can check out the Service Manuals here
I decided to go with 17x9 wheels with a -12 offset, tires are 285x70 Falken Wildpeak AT...
I just placed my order with Ford Ranger LIfts. After reading this thread, that is the right kit for my truck. Can't wait to install it!
Edit: oh darn, I just saw that I could have got a discount. I sent him an email asking if he can apply it to my order - fingers crossed he will :)
sounds like total BS to me. I would hope it would take a lot to get kicked out of the forum, so this is hard to believe. Maybe we need to start a new 5th gen forum member site
That is BS! He contributed a ton to this thread, and site and he helped so many people. I found all of his input very helpful. I too would like to understand why he is no longer a member. I never saw one single post that was inappropriate. If he lived close to me, we would likely be best...
Not too sure about a global one backup that gets everything.
I backed mine up by module, bcm, ipc, apim, etc you really only need to backup the modules that you plan to change.
Min is still doing it, but the truck seems to run just fine. The only part that causes concern for me is that no all trucks are doing it, only some. that implies something isn't right.
That's good to know. Do you know what they checked? If they simple look and see your brake, tail, turn, and backup lights come on, then I can do that at home and not bother. But they are checking other stuff, then that would be good to know.
same here, letter came today. I'm curious what they need to do to fix this, meaning what exactly do they replace and does my drop in bed liner need to come out. The reason I ask is because i installed the bed lights and I would prefer they do not remove the bed liner. Those kids are lazy and...
I had a tough time getting mine tight as well. I just used a bigger ratchet (1/2 drive) and kept going until it was tight. I felt it was too much effort, so they could have done better there. It's not like they do not know the size of the exhaust.
You could just swing by a muffler shop and...
Just curious if anyone who has the issue where one mirror sometimes does not unfold has tried this test yet? My guess is it will work every time with the button and the issue is timing with the module, but that is only a guess and I've not had time to mess with my truck at all.
My 2019 was delivered in March 2019 and I had to remove the drop in bed liner to install the bed light kit. When I removed the liner, there were several rust spots underneath it. It came from the factor like that., as the light kit was installed only a few months after I got the truck. I live...
same here. The only issue I have is there is no place to store that big ass cover when you are not using it. Storage inside the cab is weak in general. I have to just lay in the back seat, or take it out of my truck. Really wish we had better inside storage options in our new Ranger :(
Cool, thank for sharing. I was curious if they would say anything or ask you about it.
BTW, the notice for the tail light recall says they don't have a fix yet. Did they fix yours? If yes, what was replaced?
Manual button works every time.
Ignition triggers mirrors to unfold
Happens in the morning, around 40 F, with only one exception where it failed in the afternoon, but still a cold day.
Only the passenger mirror fails to unfold when this happens. Drivers mirror has never failed to unfold on my...
