Based on your comments, go with whichever is cheaper from either Billstein or Eibrach.
I will second this. 5100's all day and they are VERY affordable. I was very impressed when I had them installed over stock. They ride better than OEM also. But you also can't go wrong with Eibrach. If you...
Thanks. It looks like in order for any vehicle to qualify, it needs to be a 10R80 transmission. Is there a way to tell if this is currently what my truck has?
What was the process like in terms of working with your dealer? Just tell them you think this TSB is applicable and let them figure it out? How long did they have your truck?
I believe I may have this issue on my low mileage 22 Lariat from the onset, but how can I tell? Also, what's the procedure for getting the dealer involved?
Can you share pics of the rest of your drop on cab? I still haven't taken the plunge to add a cover, but like the looks of what you have here. I believe they are pretty heavy and require two people to install and remove?
Definitely suggest getting a good jack if you plan on being offroad. The OEM jack won't be effective in loose terrain, sand, etc or on uneven or unstable ground and you'll likely not get enough height needed to remove the wheel.

I like that, but it's been talked about for years so it would be at least 2-3 years out from today even if Farley green lights it tomorrow. It's exactly what I'm looking for.
IMO, it's superior to an Outback and more comparable to a 4-Runner. There were rumors this was coming to the US, but Ford must have changed their tune as there seems to be no more chatter about it. I think it looks great.
Did you drive one? I do like the looks of the Zr2, always have, but after seeing a YT video comparing the Ranger offroad, to the ZR2 was no match. I think Chevy also uses more "active" suspension so it likely rides more like boat which I don't care for. I've not compared them, so I can't see...
Wildest Winter Night Drive
The clock read about 11 p.m. as I tightened my grip on the steering wheel, the creak of leather gloves cutting through the oppressive silence. The snowstorm had escalated from a gentle flurry to a furious blizzard in just an hour, transforming the highway into a...
I have 265/70/17's with a 2" lift and it slightly touches at full lock, but since I don't drive at full lock , it's not an issue. It only rubs on the plastic fender so I don't worry about it.
