To make a long story short, I got ahold of a CR Performance Turbo for my Ranger, and a CVF Catted Downpipe with the intent of doing both at the same time.
Removing the old downpipe was an absolute slaughterhouse and now I'm worried about the difficulty of removing and putting on the new turbo...
Not a Friday but I'm at a hotel bar, with the ranger outside. Anyone know any good spots in or around the Maine/New Hampshire area to run the ranger through its paces?
Thank you!
This is exactly what I was looking for!
I'm leaning towards the Livewire because I enjoy watching data, I assume the livewire can do everything the BDX does?
Hello,
Looking into getting a tune for my 22 XL.
I have combed through a lot of the tuning threads on here to see which company to go with and have mostly decided on going with Unleashed, based mostly on their seemingly glowing customer service.
However, I am completely new to tuning, and...
I actually bought one from a member here, held it up to my truck and didn't care for it. Its brand new in box except he took the bezel around it, the part that says RANGER. I'm not sure how much shipping to you would be though.
Benny,
Want to pull the trigger on the hood struts we talked about, but also interested in the ARB Snorkel.
Any chance for a code? Also am I able to use my Ford reward points?
Thank you!
Sorry, got some snow and didn't want to pop the hood till it all melted.
It looks like I have the plates and studs, so do I just need the struts?
Thank you for the help!
EDIT: Didn't answer your question, I have a 2022 XL STX Special Edition, Supercab
I have a 2022 XL STX Special Edition and it has a prop rod. It only holds the hood open like a quarter of the way, very obnoxious.
I'll take a pic and post it here.
Thank you!
Received my engine cover from y'all the other day, thank you!
Looking to get rid of my prop rod, and go to struts for the hood.
I found these two part numbers on the forums here.
Is there anything else I would need to get this to work?

Thank you!
So I've gotten a lot of recommendations for MOBIL1, that might be what I do moving forward.
I also plan the 5000 mi oil changes but I'll have to see if that becomes prohibitively expensive.
I went with a ValvoMax drain plug, and honestly after using it to drain a little extra oil after pulling...
Yeah I know that machining and all that is good nowadays but even the dealer said do an oil change at 3k after break in. Couldve been trying to just scam me into an oil change but it would've been free anyway so I'm not sure what they stand to gain.
I figure that I put about 100 miles a day on...
Yeah, I now see the google option here on the forums too.
So little AAR for my oil change.
I chickened out and went with the 910-s and the blend, didn't have time to research anything else thoroughly enough for my liking. I'll probably switch over to the Motorcraft Full Synthetic on the next...
Dealer said change at 3k. Changing early is in my opinion cheap insurance. I also put a lot of highway miles on early, and that makes me nervous. Ill pay the 40 bucks or so just for peace of mind.
Trans and diff oil is going to happen very very early as we had a Focus with the squirrely transmission and I do not want to risk anything with this truck.
Also looking at the PPE pan and the dipstick extension.
